Crawds and Rods - Lawton area.

Anyone who isn't familiar with the event, it's a car show with bands and a carnival in Elgin. My band (Deadweight) is going to be playing at this thing this Saturday at 10:30 AM. We play rock but everyone else plays country and red dirt. The event is put on by the local fire department and the donations go to support fire safety in local schools.

There are three events, a car show, a burn out contest, and a poker run. I have no idea about any of these things since this is the first time I'll have gone to this thing. From what everyone says, the food is great, the cars are awesome, and they give away some form of a hotrod each year.

I really don't know much else about it. When I drove through Elgin the other day there were tons of carnival rides, which I guess is new to this thing.

Anyway, hope to see some of you guys there.

Man, anyone who didn't go missed some great looking cars. Seriously, some of that stuff was amazing.
