Anyone got a 10-22 they want to part with?

My bff is nearing her birthday and i just figured out a great birthday gift idea but it requires a Ruger 10-22 donor rifle. I don't want a new one because I'm going to kit it if i can find one in time. Hoping someone here has one they would be willing to part with for a good cause

My idea was to kit the 10-22 to make it look like an FN P90 or FS 2000, that basic look, but it seems nobody actually makes an "FN" replica kit for the 10-22. What I saw was a home built version using an airsoft body over the 10-22 Darn... I guess the asking for a 22 isn't needed now so scratch the top post.

I've seen that done too on YouTube... Seemed kinda like more trouble than is worth modding the stock to fit

Red Jacket makes a P90 looking stock for the 10/22.

From their description: The Red Jacket ZK-22 drop-in stock kit will accept any standard Ruger 10/22 receiver with carbine barrel, or .920" Bull barrel ,18.5" or longer. This stock requires an 18.5" inch or longer barrel length Ruger 10/22 in order to not violate NFA overall length requirements.

I personally like this one the best

It pains me to say that red jacket kit is exactly what I need. I just don't like them...however, this particular item is at least their own design instead of copying someone else's design and claim they invented it. Thanks for the link....now I need a 10-22 again. If anyone has one that they would be willing to part with I would really appreciate it. Doesn't have to be pretty since it's going to be kitted.

Now hopefully I can pull this off in time to be a birthday present.

I'm thinking about getting one. My 10-22 was from my late F-I-L's estate so I'll never get rid of it but the wood is suffering from years of barn storage. I'm really liking that zombie killer!

After going back and forth I think the Red Jacket stock is way over priced and the idea of giving money to those ass hats is too much. I couldn't live with myself.

Here is a non-red jacket stock. I don't know anything about it though.

The Red Jacket kit isn't going to start shipping for several months. The HTA kit is closer to shipping, but that will still be another month or so....

Thanks Cole but I decided against a kitted 10-22 and instead I bought her a new Ruger 10-22 Talo Edition Tactical, red dot scope with magnifier, a 50 round drum mag and a really nice Ruger 10-22 soft case to carry it in. It's a beautiful setup.....I want to keep it for myself LOL.
