SB 1760 been signed...

Governor has signed SB1760, the Riot Control Prevention Act which prevents municipalities and government agencies from confiscating firearms, ammunition and the like during states of emergency.
She also signed the one about drug testing for welfare or somethin like that.
Way to go Gov!!

I'm all for testing welfare recipients for drugs but they should also be testing everyone who gets state money including the politicians themselves...the largest group of Hippocrates of them all.

That's good to hear. I would hate to have anything happen here like I heard about during Katrina.
I've always said that "If I have to take a drug test to get a job, so I can pay taxes that pay for welfare, then they should have to be tested to receive it."
