Moving soon to the Portsmouth/Bristol area. Looking for a local gun store, big ammo selection, new and used guns. Knowledgeable staff, take trades. Anything like that around? Also how difficult to get CCW. Have my CT permit. What do I need to buy handguns?Thanks!

The Middletown gun club is a very nice one. Not sure on that side of the bridge but on the mainland I have had fantastic luck with Cranston gun and coin in North Kingstown.
Ammo your best bet is online.
Ccw is realistically a total pain in the ass to get. Not sure of that area is following their shall issue laws or not, most of the carriers I know from over there have Attourney General issued permits.

Go to D&L to window shop. The selection is HUGE, they have everything, but the prices are offensively high. Heritage Gun and Coin has smaller selection, but the prices are great. The guys their will order any gun you want with a 10% mark-up and are always looking for trades. They are also really fair, not salesmen or cheats. One time I made an offer on a lower receiver for an AR and they told me it was too much and sold it to me for less.
