Calendar-wise it's early but it sure seems warm and wet enough...

Where would be a good place to look? I love morels and have never seen any around here.

In the woods.

(I have not yet found any either but apart from the little woods behind my house, I've never really tried. This year I keep telling myself I'm going to go looking!)

There are reports on the net of finds in Ky, Oh and Ind. I'm gonna go out Tues AM and look. Never really done it before but Mom loves 'em and I want to get her some!

Went out this weekend looking with my brother. I am not an experienced mushroom hunter but he is. No luck.

My father-in-law found a bunch in Ohio. Gave them to my brother-in-law who posted pics on facebook. Printed pics and fried in butter...not bad but not quite the same.
