Range for CCW... How far did we have to shoot?

They say the mind is the second thing to go... A little help please.
Way back when we got our permits to carry, how far did we have to shoot? Wasn't it something like 7 and 12 yards? With loading/unloading drills and such...
Trying to set up a small air pistol range in the basement. Trying to make it "real" for the little lady, ya know.

As I recall, the first time I did it in 2005, that was the shooting drill. When I renewed in 2010, all of my shooting was at a single distance.

BIll's max range we shot at was 25 ft.

I have roughly 34' to work with. Maybe I'll just stretch it out as far as possible and make the "shooter's table" movable. Now to go find pistols.... Air pistols that is.

When I took my CCW class I did no specific drills, just two mags at a single distance. The distance was fairly short too 15, maybe 25, feet IIRC.
