I am going to be taking someone to drop off at the airport in Huntsville on Sunday. It is about a 3 hour drive, so I was going to try and find something do make the trip a little more worth while than just turning around in the airport parking lot and heading home. What are some things to do, or places to go in Huntsville on a Sunday afternoon? Is there a Cabela's or REI, or anything like that?

There's been several huntsville threads within the last few months. As for a Sunday the good gun stores are closed (Larry's Pistol & Pawn in Huntsville and Silent Industries out near Madison). We do have several Dick's Sporting Goods and several Gander Mountain stores in town.
Space and Rocket Center is open on Sunday as well I believe.
