 Aggressive Collection Attorney Needed......in SC

I have a judgement that I won in 2004 involving some corrupt business partners. My judgement was for a little over $85,000 and against 2 persons. The judgement was in Charleston county, and also where the defendants currently live. I now live in Greenville county. I have done the internet search thing, done my own "hunting" and now to the point that I would give a hefty % of the judgement to an attorney who can do the legwork and actually collect some of the judgement.

Since there is a LOT of networking on this site, just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone could help!
All the info regarding the case, judgement etc. is on the Charleston county clerk of courts online records...

Thank You,

-Michael

I stopped searching about 2 years ago and haven't kept up. I know they were switching jobs often and one has a house but it is in his wife's name. Really just looking for someone who can run with this and offer them a good % of what they collect.... My attorney at the time said to lay low for a while and not push anything, let them get comfortable and then strike.

You can always file a 1099 on thim for the judgement amount if you know where they live. You give up the right to collect the money. They will probably ignore your W2 and not pay the tax. Guess who will give them a call then, the IRS because you will file as a payment to them.
You can then write the loss off you taxes $3000.00 per year untill you use it up. Ask your attorney about this option.
You can't get blood from a turnip but the IRS can.

Interesting option if they're broke and have no assets.

Giving away free money to an attorney that wants to do a little work! Guess thats the problem... None want to work. They all want money up-front.

Wish I was an attorney, I'd be glad to take your money.

Have you tried getting your judgement reported to their credit bureaus? I do small business lending and sure as shit they're not getting a dime if they have an outstanding judgement of that size on their CBR or SBFE.

OK... Tried the whole IRS route. That is a no-go. Legal issues regarding enforcement of judgements.

So... anyone?? Any attorneys need money? New to the law field and want 40% on all monies collected? I know you do....

as a retired lawyer, I submit what you need in the trade is known as a "junkyard dog lawyer." A guy that bites deep and never lets go. what county are these dead-bets in?
