I am on Amelia Island. Things blow, right now.

We need the rain.

I'll be back in Tifton in about 24 hours. I can imagine that it will be a fun drive down from Cumming and a rather restless night.

Good. My grass looks like crap.

Yep, it blows alright. Vacationing on Hilton Head island right now and the wind keeps picking up faster and stronger.

Savannah here, standing by...

It just unloaded on the South side of Savannah.

I need me some Stephanie Abrams about now.

Yes, but a nice steady nourishing spread rain over a few days would be preferable to TS winds, hail, and possibly tornadoes. Especially since it looks like I'll be on its "bad side" for the entire time it loops around me.

And did I mention I live in a pecan orchard?

Not good weather here in Saint Simons either I am glad we stayed home...

I heard from my friend that Tifton sucked and blowed all day today. I am sure it will get worse.

Just got home from Savannah.

It really does blow right now.

We gonna have to meet at Locos for lunch one day.

We hunkered down in the beach house on Fernandina Beach. 70mph winds. Honestly, after that, I hope to never have to ride out a hurricane. That shit was a bit unnerving.

Just ate there fri. it was pretty good

I'm also on Amelia Island. Things blew big time last night. Probably won't return to Amelia.

Even bad news sounds better coming from her. :)

Here in savannah this has ben the sorriest excuse for a storm supposedly worthy of notice I have experienced in a long time.

Lots of wind last night, some good sized limbs down but nothing big fell near the house, shed, or vehicles. Lots of rain off and on but not steady and not too heavy.

But it's getting lined up to head back this way. Hopefully it has died down enough that we will just get the good rain.

c_s you were a little too far north. It will come back that way but I doubt there will be much left by then.

Yeah, it wasn't surprising, its just the local weather people built it up like some big event, even as it failed to be just that.

Looks like we are going to be getting lots of rain for a while here in Waycross.

Send some of that to N. Ga..............we need it as well

Not much going on in tifton right now for those who are curious. Weird cause we usually get hammered anytime it sprinkles everywhere else. Just windy with some light rain

Got the lawn mowed, ready for the rain, and I'm headed overseas tomorrow. It all oughta be gone by the time I get back!

Not much happened on the islands east of Savannah, but I'm still wary of what will happen when the storm turns t the northeast.

I've been through a couple Cat 3 hurricanes. Aftert those, piddly little 70 mph winds ain't gonna rattle me much.
