Man, what a GREAT time! Lots of goodies to see, not as much free stuff given away this year. No free oil, which about broke my little pea picking heart. The number of booth babes was down as well as the quality of said babes. I was thinking,
this was the
best they could do?
And of course, everyone's
favorite mid-TN dealer, Uselton had a booth there. I was going to ask (loudly) if he was informing his customers placing orders if he told them he was in bankruptcy for the third time but didn't do so as I thought he'd try to have me thrown out.
I did manage to see some fellow TN folks I knew there. Sat was a fucking ZOO, it was so crowded. I had completed the show so I didn't go back Sun, I just got up & headed home.
For those whom have never been to St. Louis, it was an eye opener, IMO. I hadn't seen such decay up close & in person before. I didn't know St. Louis was getting to be as bad as Dee-troit & East SL. I actually drove around East SL a time or two due to missing my exit on the interstate. It looked like Beriut (sp?) on a bad day, IMO. I can't believe there's cities in the US that look like this. Amazing.

Not to hijack your thread, but I need to post my report and pictures as well. The short of it is we had a pretty good time over all.
They have the free tours of Budwiser again this time? Last time the NRA did its thing there Budwiser went all out for NRA folks giving rides both ways and the FREE BEER with the tour! Seeing the Clydesdales in their home stable was eye opening. They have to be the best cared for horses in the world. Stable floor was cleaner than a bunch of places for humans.

You go right ahead & post them in here if you'd like.

Actually, I took the Beermaster Tour. It cost $25 & is a bit more in-depth tour of the plant than the freebie one, or at least that is what I've been told. No free rides that I knew of but I hit the plant on the Wed before the convention opened.
Yes, the horse stable was pretty clean but I've seen a LOT fancier barns around the TN Walking Horse owners in the Shelbyville/Williamson Co. area. Heck, some of those horse barns are cleaner than a lot of restaurants I go to!
