 Truck alignment in middle Tn

Is there anyone in middle Tn that you would recommend for a truck alignment?

I have a 01 F350 dually with the super cab and the long bed. I have been limited on finding places that can or will align my truck. No lift or drop on the truck. The two places I have used I have not been impressed with.

Thanks

I haven't kept up with the changes Ford has made on the newer trucks. Does it have the single I-beam front suspension, the twin I-beam front suspension, or did Ford finally go to A-arms on the heavier pickups (I hope not)?

If it's a single I-beam or twin I-beam, most shops (some shops that work on heavy commercial trucks being the possible exception) are not going to be able to do anything other than adjust the rod ends to set the toe, and replace worn bushings and kingpins (and I wouldn't be surprised if some shops refuse to bother with replacing kingpins).

see if Firestone will, they have a lifetime alignment for 149.......and regardless of where you do it, so long as you own it, you can take it to any Firestone.

I don't know if they do that kind of work (I think they do) but We started using Hackett Brothers in Murfreesboro, on the recommendation of several friends, and they have been great. They won't sell you something you don't need, and are fairly quick as well.

In Nashville, Mid-TN Ford or Nacarato Trucks is who I would look at for a truck that large.

The truck is a solid axle 4X4.

I have tried the Firestone (Expert tire) route for the lifetime warranty but they said the truck wont fit on their alignment machine. They said the truck is too long.

I have replaced everything (ball joints, tie rods, shocks and wheel bearings) on the front end over the last two years and I am still eating front tires. After an alignment at one shop I went home to find I had a broken ball joint and they never noticed it when aligning the truck. I brought this to their attention and they said they wouldn't charge me for another alignment as long as I payed them to replace the ball joints. I told them if they didn't notice the bad ball joints during the alignment that I no longer trusted them to service the truck.

Thanks for the info Bob and RB. I will check them out.

Check these folks out. I used to take the trucks from my old job there for alignments and have used them myself for 4x4s with oversize tires. They know their stuff and were fair on prices.

You might try one of the ford dealers.

For an F-150, yes, but Mid-Tenn Ford is the only Ford dealer in the Nashville area (that I know of) that is set up to handle maintenance on heavier trucks. I've used their parts department a few times (no complaints from me), but never dealt with their service department.

We used to take our Suburban to 505 Alignment, 505 Lea Ave, just off of Lafayette near downtown.

They handle Peterbilts, etc, so an F350 is on the small side, as was our Sub.
