Polk County/Turtletown area questions

I'm looking at a property in the Polk County/Turtletown area and am doing some research on the area prior to making an appointment to see the property. I'm still early in the process and this will be a weekend and vacation place for my wife and I. In advance of the visit, I'd like to ask you good folks for any information you care to share on the area.
I've tried to find county laws regarding discharge of firearms, as I'd like to shoot on the property, but Google isn't finding me much on this. Do any of you happen to know a good resource where I could research the county law for this - How far from roads, other dwellings, etc?

As long as your neighbors arent a bunch of peckerheads and your in a rural area it shouldnt be an issue.

Things are pretty laid back in Polk Co. As long as you're not shooting @ 6am on a Sun morning or at your neighbor's house or something equally stupid, there's usually a lot of slack cut.
Keep in mind that the more acreage your property is, the farther away your neighbors are & the less noise they'll hear. Lots of hills there, so a good chance of them deflecting the noise up & away from your neighbors as well.
FWIW, I'm 5th generation from Benton.

Thanks very much for the information. I'll be headed up that way this coming weekend to look at a few places.
I figured this was the best place to get a general idea of how things were in the area, of course realizing that the
size of any land I purchase, neighbors and topography are variables.
I have some friends who have bought land near Ocoee and they've sold me on the area.

Will definitely check out Benton Shooters Supply. I stumbled across their website when I was researching the area. Mum's the word on bringing anyone else up
