Hoping to find a lower at a decent price so I can finish my 22 build.

I was there today. I saw most lowers for $125-$150. there were plenty of them. I saw a M&P 15 for $895. That is a decent deal I thought.

Seems like every year I have less and less ambition to go to this show.

Same here....

I rushed through passing over all the $hit......and walked out saying "I think I am done going to gun shows"...again.

It doesn't make sense anymore. You can order new stuff from dealers, or local stores cheaper then most of the dealers have on their table. People still think 30rd GI AR mags are worth $25 each.

Things I paid some attention too:

Howa 1500 Hogue package rifle setups......$399 and $499 curently at Scheels. $599 at the show.
Magpul MOE stock $50 virtually anywhere, some places shipped for that. $85 at the show.

Maybe I am getting too old.

P.S.....it was nice chatting with Hawkin at the show.

It is just about impossible to buy anything other than small or unique stuff at the show. the internet has taken the fun out of gun shows, and probably saved us consumers a lot of money. I brought my 11 year old daughter with me. we walked in and right away she says "it smells like a bunch of cows in here" LOL

I still like going to the Fargo and Grand Forks shows. Used to go to all of them, with in 150 miles. The small ones just are a waste of time.
