The only gunstore I could find them at in Iowa was at Scheels and they were "display only". All other gun stores had no eta and wanted to sell me something else.
I hope you have better luck than I did.

I bought a Beretta Nano at Scheels in Des Moines yesterday. I was looking to compare the shield and nano, but they did not have a shield in stock.

I regularly check Scheels for used guns, I'll let you know if I see one new or used.

Get what you want. Go to gunbroker. Order one. Pay the transfer fee.

they only have 1 on there and it has 12 hrs left and the bid is at $530. Way above suggested retail.

It took over a year for my local shop in CR to get a M&P 22 from the time I ordered it from GB. It all depends on how much you want it.

How dare them

MSRP of $450, nobody has them in stock, alot of buyers looking for them and you are surprised about $80 over MSRP?

Have any dealers said how long until they are in stock? Could be a year before you are able to walk into a shop and buy one at or below MSRP, so if you want/need it you are going to pay.

I have and will again if I need/want it bad enough.

Every gun I've bought I could of saved 50-100 on if I bought it online, that's after shipping/transfer. But I'm willing to pay more at a shop I like. Witch isn't the case here, I'm just making a point.

If you can wait, don't pay that extra $100, but if you can't wait you will have to pay more... such is life

+1 sometimes you want something bad enough you'll pay the extra to get it local or shipped in from some random place. I bought a case of ammo recently that cost me much more than it did in Feb.
