OK H&K erge has hit ... Have question for Alaska Vendors
I see the list but figure i would ask . Has anyone seen an MP 5SD clone that isnt crap or ugly looking ?
I have a GSG MP5SD in 22LR and love it , the wife said i need a matching one in 9mm ... Who can argue with that
I wish PTR would make an HK94/MP5 clone. Their 91's and 93's are really nice. HK actually buys parts from PTR.
Hit or miss with these other clone companies, some worse than others.
Not sure who has the SD's. I just picked up a Vector 53 a few months ago and it's really nice. Might want to check out over on HKPro.com. Ghilliebear2000 and some other guys over there build some sweet H&K's
how is the vector overall ?
Im really happy with it. Fit and finish are nice. From what i have seen with the 53 i wouldn't hesitate to buy one of theirs again. If you have one built for you i would get quality parts. German or RCM. I ended up with a Special Weapons kit that was absolute shit parts compared to RCM or real H&K parts.
I'm looking at getting a dakota built one and dropping the form 1 the second it gets here go SBR
He makes nice stuff. Are you going SD or regular?
If going regular i would have him do it up as a pistol so you can still shoot it while the paperwork waits.

Talked to Dakota today , its a go . Wife said go trust route , someone sent me the lawyers name that works with alot of AMGA guys .
I assume I need the trust in place before I get the firearm in question ? Dakota said they would engrave the needed info on it before he ships it to
my FFL ... Which brings up another question ... Transfer of it as a pistol .

You do not need the trust untill you go to fill out your form 1 to SBR it. Come up with a name for your trust so that he will be able to engrave that info on the pistol somewhere. Transfer would be like any other online order and go to a regular dealer.

You should be able to call it what ever you want. PolishX Trust, QQQQ Obama Trust (have seen this with Clintons name before), what ever. Just remember what ever you call it, if youform 1 anything you will need to engrave that whole name, city, and state on the item you will be creating. Some places charge a flat fee for engraving and some charge per letter.
