Gun Refinishing in KS/MO
I just checked with UPS & Fedex on shipping a pistol to FL for refinishing and the cost is over $70 to get it there. Talk about being surprized and pissed. Can't believe the cost. Have another pistol I want refinished but sure as hell don't want to have to pay does anyone have a KS or MO company that does hard chrome on pistols.

did you check USPS shipping costs?
The company didn't want to to use USPO said they wanted it shipped UPS or FedEx...
Did you ask the said company if they could provide you with a prepaid shipping label? That might significantly lower the cost.
Thought about that after I dropped it off at UPS.. I am going to check with my LGS and check if they are set up to ship on the cheap.
