I don't think this year is a National Title year, but I do think they will make a BCS Bowl game. I just purchased my student pass for all the hom games for $65
I am really excited to see how Tyler Wilson will do as a starter.

$65 damn
I don't know if we'll see a pro style pass every game but I think he's more than good enough to outdo Mallet as a whole

Preseason unit rankings: Receivers
Rivals.com Staff
1. ARKANSAS
BUZZ: The Hogs return their top four wide receivers; three of them started at least five games. The one that didn't was Joe Adams - and he might be the best of the quartet. Those top four receivers are back - Adams, Greg Childs, Cobi Hamilton and Jarius Wright - combined for 170 receptions for 2,890 yards and 23 TDs even though Childs missed six games with a knee injury. All but Childs caught a pass covering at least 85 yards last season. The Hogs will miss TE D.J. Williams, but with this much talent at wide receiver, it won't matter that much.
It's gonna be a great year for Hog ball. I'm excited about the upcoming season....and the cooler weather.

I have never gotten football. Just way to slow of a game. They stop every couple seconds. Then after living in New Zealand and watching Rugby and seeing a game that keeps moving i dont even try to watch football.

I may...or may not (

)...have access to season tickets this year

There are only two games on that schedule in which I have great interest. Alabama and Tennessee. If the Hogs beat these two teams and lose every other one it will be a perfect season as far as I am concerned.
If they could just play Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas and beat them then that would be the holy triumvirate.
So far, I'm going to the Alabama game and the A&M game. I may go to others if opportunities present themselves.
If everyone stays healthy, we could have a great year!!!

I DVR most football games and watch them like a player watches a game film. When the whistle blows, I hit the 30 second skip button and immediately see the next snap. I can zip through a game in an hour 20 or so.

FAYETTEVILLE - University of Arkansas junior running back Knile Davis sustained an injury to his left ankle during practice Thursday evening and is expected to miss the 2011 season.
"I am extremely disappointed for Knile," UA head coach Bobby Petrino said. "He is a captain who was incredibly focused on the upcoming year. His leadership throughout the offseason was significant in the development of this team. Our athletic trainers and medical staff are the best in the country, and Knile's mental toughness will be an asset to him during the recovery process. I am fully confident in the mindset of our running back group and their ability to perform."....................

Why isn't there a local station carrying the broadcast? During basketball "season" you can't find anything BUT that crap on the radio. ( A slight exageration, but not by much)
Sure is quiet in here!

Roll Tide!
They kick our butt.

holy shit what a waste of 3 hours, i guess we know what happens when you dont have your first team tackles, defensive ends and no running game
i wasnt expecting a beatdown like that

I don't really think it was really so much of a beat down. Bama scored on some specialty plays which made the score more lopsided than the game actually was. Don't ya think?

yea they did get 2 scores on specialty and 1 trick score but the hogs still have no running game
17 yards rushing, thats got to be fixed
Texas A&M up next, whats your predictions?
Hogs 32 A&M 27
Was at the game on Saturday at Bama and watched a tough one. Planning on heading down on Friday night to watch the Hogs play Saturday morning. I have to think that Petrino will have the Hogs ready to play and that A&M is nowhere near as good as Bama. I say it's a close game, but Hogs pull it out. Who knows, maybe we will find a running back somewhere on the way to Texas.
The ole' miss equipment hauler just came past me on 40, heading west in west Arkansas. Who are they playing this week?

F#$@%n ESPN switched to the next game, which for me was blacked out on DirecTV.

...and they lost two defensive captains for the season against 'bama. Think it said one was a cornerback and one was a defensive end.
I really want to go to the game this weekend now that I live in MS, but no money for tickets. That's what I get for spending all that money in Dallas for A&M and saving for that little showdown in Baton Rouge at the end of November.
Woo Pig Sooie!
What the Hell was that?!?!
I'm glad they won, but they had better pull their collective head out of their collective ass or the second-half second-winds are going to run out.
I didn't see the game last week, but I'm guessing that they must have been trailing Bye at the half, also.
Go Hogs!!!!!!

that was head up your ass, thinking they're gonna walk all over anyone
i'm also wondering where those easy screens went, it seems like we didnt do much of our normal routine
Hogs will win, hopefully they will win convincingly
ANOTHER bullet officially dodged.
Can we cannonize Patrino and just make him a saint now 'cause he has got to be living like one to have this much good fortune befall him and his team?
When did the Hogs change their motto to, "It's better to be lucky than good."
I don't know what's going on with them lately, but we should not have won this game. About 4 INT's dropped by Vandy, 2 of them would have been pick-6's. We got LUCKY. We earned those comeback wins against A&M and Ole Miss. I'm not so sure we deserved this one. Regardless, Go HOGS! Glad we could still get the W.
