Aplpleseed shoot, March 3-4, Centerton, AR, Nighthawk Custom Training Academy

Time for another Appleseed. The good folks at Nighthawk are hosting another shoot in March. If you have not been to an Appleseed, I would suggest checking it out. If you have been to one before, I am sure there's room on the line for you again. I am palnning on being there and would really like to meet and shoot with some fellow arfcomers. The websites are below:

Nighthawk Custom Training Academy

Appleseed Website

I am not with the project. I am just a guy who likes to shoot, but have been to a couple of shoots before. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,
CT

I'll be working or I would be there.

Looks like there is IDPA, USPSA, and a Ruger Rimfire match coming up too! I'll be at the Ruger Rimfire again.

AAR:

I think the shoot today went pretty good. Much was learned up and down the line. I started with my Black Rain/Wilson Combat 5.56..

Then I switched to the 300Blackout build....

Things got a little dirty...

Wind gusts around 20-30 mph made for interesting conditions, but I still pulled out a 217 with the Blackout...

.30 holes are a little bit bigger...

All and all, a great time. Thanks again to Nighthawk for the great lunch and hosting of the event. If anyone is interested in Future Appleseeds, Nighthawk is planning 3 or 4 more shoots for later this year.
Thanks also to Scotty @ Arkansas Outdoor Supply for the great 300 Blackout AR-15 build, and to Wison Combat for making awsome rifle parts!
Cheers,
CT

I only made it out on Sunday, but I think there was about 16 or so on Saturday, about the same on Sunday. There are some pics of the shoot up on the Academy's website.

It was a good shoot I think...Almost as good as yours..
I roped the wife into taking pics this time. I think she did a great job of hiding as much of my ugly mug as much as she could..
