Pistol Competitions in Fort Smith/NWA? ETA: CASA?
I like shooting pistols, and I think I'm pretty decent at it.
I want to get into gun games, but I know nothing about them or where to join up.
I was in Fort Chaffee Outfitters(great store, great guys) the other day and overheard a guy buying a G34 say he was buying it
for IDPA or IPSC, I don't remember which and frankly I don't know enough about either to know if those are even the right acronyms.
I figured if he was in Fort Smith and did those competitions surely a place close by held them, so I figured I'd ask here.
Thanks
Sturms in Springdale has some kind of competition, bowling pins or idpa or something, on most Tuesdays.
Old Fort Gun Club. I know they do USPSA; probably IDPA, as well.

Found video of 3 gun at Old Fort Gun Club online.
Looks pretty dang fun
Do I just show up, or do I have to join the club first? Their website would't work for me
Nighthawk Custom Training
They have hosted Ruger Rimfire, and have monthly IDPA and USPSA matches.
I use to shoot IPSC at Old Fort about once a year. This has been many moons ago but at the time, there were some great folks up there. I know a few of them are still around.
Looks like CASA isn't too far and has matches the first Sunday of every month.
I'm planning on going May 6th, are any of you guys going to be there?

I will, if I manage to assemble some ammo.

Old Fort Gun Club matches are open to the public. Same fee for all competitors.
Have a match of some kind every weekend, 22 silhouette, 3 gun, IPSC, Steel challenge ( .22 & centerfire), Highpower rifle ( CMP), SASS.
Would be glad to have you come out and watch or play.
Local contact is Johns Guns 479-782-GUNS if you need more info.
