... to try my new BAR15-22
100 rounds of MiniMag through it, no problems at all.
Very impressed with the speed it cycles and found it quite accurate considering I was using iron sights and struggling a bit shooting under dodgy fluorescent lights.
Not sure what trigger is in it (do you know Funky?) but it's very nice - totally crisp and natural from the off.
Not really feeling love for the CTR stock right now, I need it fully extended and found my natural cheek-weld against the buffer tube in order to get a good sight picture...

I'm hoping the addition of the Viper PST will solve this by virtue of improved position, otherwise I might need a different stock or a cheek riser - Anyone got any suggestions? Of course, I might just need to improve my technique

I stuck some Troy rail covers on it yesterday too, which are comfortable and give good grip.
All in all, I'm delighted with this gun and can't wait for the next Mini-Rifle event at Diggle

If you are not happy with cheek weld on the buffer tube, you may want to look at the Magpul UBR stock. Not cheap though.

Not sure what the trigger is.
I thought it might be a Geissele, but it could be an Accuracy Speaks. i didn't have a very close look to be honest.
Glad you are getting on with it though. It's a very nice little rifle.
I hear you have ordered your .223 for Practical/CSR as well...........Gun fever got you bad eh?

Thanks, ordered one for my .223

You heard right, just counting the days to get my hands on it
You could say I had a bad case of FAC fever, but quite sincerely I don't think I will make any serious buying errors thanks to the advice I've had on here and from some good people in the trade

You see, the UKHTF is good for some things

I'm pretty sure we can all guess.

The Magpul clip on cheekpiece will keep your cheek off the buffer tube. Comes in 3 heights - 1/4", 1/2" or 3/4". Doesn't foul the charging handle as the bolt travel is shorter on a .22

Great, thanks, will try one if the problem persists when the glass is fitted.

Probably

Don't overlook the A2 stock - especially as its usually cheaper than most tacticool kit
ETA: there are also butt spacers for CTR stocks to increase LOP

Ah, yes, I forgot about the spacers. That could help, cheers
