When you go through the link that is posted in the thread at the top of the TX HTF, it pops up asking you to select the state you want to search. So it doesn't matter what you have set in your profile.

If this be the case then the link is dead.....when I'm in the Texas HT forum it pops me with a search window to select "State".....

Um . . so did you scroll down and select Texas? If you do that and hit search, it opens a new tab in the browser that shows all the Texas search results. Maybe something is messed up with your browser and it won't open a new tab/window? I just did it and it worked fine.

They changed it a while back- a couple of years? It was after one of Goatboy's board upgrades. It threw me to at first, but it's only a couple of extra clicks.
