Happy Easter - more NYPD cops shot by a felon and the Bloomy anti-gun rant is on
Good cops get shot and all Bloomtard can do is hop back on his soap box and rant about the NRA.
Anyone with two brain cells can spot the FAIL in this article and see that microstamping or any other gun control won't do jack squat to address the problem.
NY Post story
Detective Michael Keenan, 52, was struck in his left calf while Detective Kenneth Ayala, 49, was hit in the thigh and left ankle during a 12:30 a.m. firefight with Nakwon Foxworth, 33, inside the suspect’s apartment building at 3301 Nostrand Ave. in Sheepshead Bay, said NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly.
Foxworth... served 10 years for robbery and selling drugs in prison...also includes a 2-year stint behind bars for attempted murder.
10 years for robbery and drugs, but only 2 years for attempted murder??
“We have now had eight – that’s correct, eight – members of the department shot in the last four months. And this is the second time in the last 24 hours police have been fired upon by armed assailants,” said Mayor Bloomberg.... All the shootings have a disgraceful fact in common: all were committed with illegal guns that came from out of state. And that is the case with nearly every shooting in our city.”
HEY BLOOMY, IF NEARLY ALL OF THE SHOOTINGS IN NYC INVOLVE ILLEGAL GUNS THAT CAME FROM OUT OF STATE, HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY JUSTIFY INFRINGING ON NEW YORK LAW-ABIDING GUN OWNERS BY PUSHING FOR MICROSTAMPING???
Facts are never relevant in Politics. The only thing
they want is power and re-election.
Often I wonder if those who call for banning handguns or any other type of firearm have any idea of how many millions of guns there are out there.
Many of us reading this have been to a large gunshow; look at all the pistols for sale there, look at how many people are in attendance, figure that most of them have one or likely more handguns, multiply that by the number of shows in the State, and then by the number of States.
Bloomberg can caterwaul all he wants, but the fact is people are buying everything they can get their hands on, and many don't give a damn if it's legal or not.

Even Ray Kelly knows that microstamping is a false panacea to reducing gun crime in NYC. In the article the Commissioner admits that most of the guns used in crime in NYC are unlicensed and come from out of state.

I'm just glad my bros in blue are OK.
Happy Easter guys!

Funny, just came by here real quick to post this story –– but already up.
Ridiculous, Kelly citing the fact that the army uses the same ammo. Who gives? And what the hell does that mean? Army uses TP too. Wish Bloomburg and Kelly in particular would start acting right, do their HW, speak honestly, and do things to ACTUALLY support their cops.
But meh. Bloomtard is a moron. It's not going to change. Most people are sheep and he is their fearless leader. Just glad the good guys all get to go home.
Let's just ban recidivist criminals. That would actually end a lot of this type of violence. But then gloomy and his liberal homeys in NYC couldn't get elected, so...let's ban guns instead.

facts and logic are very difficult to grasp for liberals....never let a fact get in the way of a driven agenda in liberal land
Apparently the guns used were unregistered and came from out of state according to Ray Kelly who was interviewed on the radio this morning. Again Kelly repeated the fact that most of the crime guns used in NYC come from out of state, so just how is microstamping going to work when the guns criminals use won't have microstamps?
Saw this story this morning on NYC's ABC news...
The lower third/title of the segment was literally..."Illegal Gun Shoots NYPD Cops"
Seriously? Are they really trying that hard to bow down to Bloomberg that they don't even want to say "
Scumbag criminal shoots NYPD Cops"

The headline should read: "NYPD COPS SHOT BY ANOTHER FELON WHO HAD NO BUSINESS BEING OUT OF PRISON".
Only two freaking years in prison for attempted murder?

Officer Figoski's
killer only served a 13-16 month sentence for armed robbery and had been recently granted all of a
$2000 bail in spite of a known attempted murder case in another state. Another felon, Luis Ortiz, wanted for questioning in a murder before he shot Officer
Brennan.
The common thread isn't the illegal guns (no shit sherlock, felons can't possess firearms anyway), it's the judicial system that habitually turns these animals back loose onto our society. Put the blame squarely where it belongs and fix the problem before more good cops get shot. Bloomy's gun control agenda against law-abiding citizens isn't going to do jack squat to prevent another cop from being shot.
I often wonder if these politicians are really this ignorant, or do they really just want to punish gun owner's, and take away our rights

I think it's a little bit of all of this, and also to appeal to their liberal constituents, and voters

My blood does boil though, every time I hear one of them speak, or read one of their retarded, misguided articles
Anything else I would say about this woud get me kicked off of this forum
