Does anyone know the zoning laws for an indoor range in Albany County? Im kicking some ideas around and cannot find anything specific. Are the regs different from town to town or county, state, etc?
Thanks
Ok how about this question. Does anyone know a good business lawyer in the capital region that is good wih 2A issues?
Why go indoors in albany when you can just step out to one of the hills? Sorry, had to.

In NYS, most of the indoor ranges run inside city limits are usually operated by the military or police dept. As for city of Albany, I am not really sure there are any civillian or commerical indoor rifle ranges. I would think the issue you are going to run into is that many cites and even some small towns have local laws prohibiting the discharge of a firearm unless it falls into something like self defense or hunting. I am not sure you would be exempted even if your range was indoors. I am sure there is a way, there are indoor pistol ranges on LI and I belive also in NYC, perhaps contact one of them and ask if they could reccomend a lawyer.
I know there is an indoor club in Toy and another in Schenectady called Guan Ho Ha or something like that. Both have indoor pistol ranges, you might try contacting their club presidents who could give you some direction or put you in touch with a laywer if the club has one they call if needed....

Guan Ho Ha has an immense waiting list. Troy has two clubs actually, Troy and North Troy.
