JorDanO's Match Videos
I guess I'll be one of the cool kids too. LOL
Last weeks match. The first of the year.
Match from this last Saturday
I designed Stages 2 and 3. I heard a lot of whining so I guess that means they were good.
but you are one of the cool kids lol. Nice work.
Like the black shirts. Wish I could give y'all my old white ones. ;)
My current jersey is red, white & blue. :)

Hey Jordan. Good shooting.Dont know if you remember A3. I was the guy shooting SS in our squad. The one who had the OH SHIT on stage 8 or 9 I believe it was.
We arent shooting yet. I think it's 18 deg. here right now. Did someone pick you up (sponsor wise ) ?

Yeah I remember you. Who knew a 1911 could shoot both .40 and .45 through the same barrel? I got on the Rudy Project Competition Squad last October. Are you guys going to shoot Double Tap this year?
Congrats on the sponsor. No we arent going to make it this year. Ya, who knew what a 100 or so points would do to my final score

Jordon, are you shooting Friday or Saturday at the Tap? We're heading down Thursday morning, shooting friday and heading back up on saturday.
As of right now I'm probably going to shoot Sat/Sun. The last two times I shot at Double Tap on a Friday it was wet and cold. Hopefully that changes this year.

Your just full of good news.
Of course wet and cold is better than snowy and freezing.
Shot open last weekend with my new 9 Major gun. Screwed up the classifier, and couldn't quite put it all together for any one stage. My shiny new mags from
www.freedomgunworks.com didn't come in time. I only had 1 mag that would work well with 9mm, which cost me on a couple stages.
Video from the West Texas IDPA Indoor Regional a few weeks ago. I was SO'ng so we all shot the week before. My gun crapped out on the second stage, and I ended up not finishing the stage which put me out of contention.
Last Saturday's match at WTPS. We had a special classifier match with a couple of field courses thrown in. I shot my CZ Shadow in Production.
Congradulations on the Rudy Project Team slot. Don't let JM1911 fool you jordan, we now have color photos for him to use so he can remember which ammo goes in his gun. We would kick him off the Higginsville Super Squad but he looks really good with his helmet on.

haha, every group needs "that" guy.
Damn guys that left a mark !!! Ya and you wont believe what happened at uor state match. Damn Bomar broke with 3 stages left. Nothing like watching your rear sight flop around while you're trying to hit poppers at 15yards. Instead of using my backup, I used a friends. Damn mag relese moved. Could not get the mags out to reload. A bad thing shooting Single Stack. All in all a helluva year !!! And I do look good in my helmet

My thoughts exactly.
lol. That was the first time I've ever tried it. I had seen a video of Eric Grauffel doing it a while back. I had 2 shots in the hard cover on the left target on the first string, so I figured I'd give it a try since I had screwed up the classifier already. I worked pretty well. I don't know how much of an advantage there is to doing it that way. Plus weak hand reloads are few and far between.
That's waayyy tooo much running to be fun

End of March and approaching cold front can only mean one thing, it's time for the Double Tap Championship. It was cold, wet, muddy, icy, my gun didn't want to run, and I couldn't feel my hands at times. It was still a great match though, all the stages were fun and challenging with some nice props.
Good video. Really like the simultaneous views, makes it easy to see everything that's going on. What do you use for video editing? I think I'm in a couple of the uprange shots, hard to tell with everyone bundled up and the sun.
I use Adobe Premier Elements 7.
Congrats on winning A class by the way. It was nice meeting you.
I'm switching to Open for a few months, and today's match at West Texas
Practical Shooters today was my first open match in a while. I'm still
getting used to my new gun , but still did pretty well. Won 3 stages and
HOA. Also, my first time using my shiny 9mm tuned mag set from Freedom
Gunworks which worked flawlessly.
Shot a great match at Lea County Action Shooters in Hobbs, NM
yesterday.Won all 5 stages and HOA.
Really looking forward to Space City in 2 weeks.

Shot the Space City Challenge this last weekend. Rain was forecast for every day, but it only rained on the last stage. I wasn't really pleased with the way I shot. I only had one stage that I was really happy with, but still ended up 3rd B in Open
Video from yesterday's match at West Texas Practical Shooters. Shot really well, lot's of fun stages. I found out I need to recheck the zero on my C-More. I couldn't hit a 5in. plate at 25yds to save my life
Won 5 of 6 Stages and HOA
I shot the match in
Roswell, Nm today. It was a little on the warm side. My truck's
thermometer read 104 at the range when we finished.
I just got my primary gun back from getting some weight chopped of the
slide, and today was the first chance I had to shoot it. My first two
stages were a little slow as I got used to the new timing, but finished
the last three strong winning two.
Finished 3rd OA 2nd Open 1st B.
Shot the High Desert Classic this weekend in Albuquerque. It was an awesome match. Very challenging with a lot of cool props.
Yesterday's match at West Texas Practical Shooters. I
switched over to production to get reaquainted with those little bumps
on the slide before Texas State Limited and the Pro-Am.
The Texas State Limited Championships was back this year after taking a year off. It rained really heavy Friday and Saturday afternoon making the range nice and muddy.
I shot both the Limited and the Open matches last week at the ProAm. It was my first time shooting it, and it definitely takes a little different game plan that USPSA. I had a blast and am looking forward to next year.

Here is my video from the Area 3 Championships. It was a fantastic match with 14 challenging stages. I also got to meet up with JM1911 and SHOOTERLANE again. It was great seeing you guys.
I shot pretty sloppy, and had a bunch of little mistakes. Finished 13th OA and 3rd A in Open.

The Rudy discount is still 35% with the 2ALPHA code.
The 10% is for Power Custom USA
Heck...the Rudy discount used to be 40%.

Good to see you agin. You didnt shoot too sloppily. I thought you did pretty well. Alot of tough competition up there. Max M. set the bar pretty high this time around. This was a really good match. Shooting SS kinda worried me at first , but it was really fun.
If you wanted to find me, just follow the trail of empty mags. I've never shot that much in a match before. Absolutely got your money's worth up there.
Just wondering how Sherwins gonna top it next year !!!
Video from the IDPA Nationals last week.
and the North Texas Sectional
looks pretty muddy

Just got home from 9 days in Las Vegas. I shot both the Open and Production matches. Both matches were very tough. Lots of no shoots and hard cover, mini poppers at 30 yards, weak hand shooting at 25-30 yards, you name it. Very few people shot the match clean.
Open didn't go so well I had 4 mikes, and 6 No shoots after shooting clean the first day.
Finished 24th A 116th OA
For the Production match I was determined to shoot clean, and ended up with only 1 mike and one No shoot. Both by less than a quarter inch.
I won A class and was 24th OA
Hey Jordan. Great job and nice finish!
I have a question about scoring. On the official results it looks like a couple of A shooters finished ahead of you. Did they get bumped to M or something? How does that work?

I suspect they were part of the #th Overall placing.
At Nationals, the class awards are given after the Top 16 are taken off the top. Those 2 guys were just sandbaggers anyway
Ah, nice. File that under USPSA rules I wasn't familiar with.
How do you like that CZ? What else have you shot in production, and how does it compare?
I used a 4" XD9 for a couple of matches while I was waiting for my SP01 from Angus to come in. Other then that it's just been a SP01 Custom and now a Shadow since they ruled that taking out the FPB was illegal.
Shot my final major match of the year last week at the Area 2 Championship in Mesa, AZ. I didn't shoot a real clean match and ended up 4th A in Production.
Congrats, Master.

Hehe thanks, I was a little bummed that I didn't do better since this was my last match in A class. The guy that won A shot a great match and is a good friend so it wasn't so bad.
Shot the only sanctioned IDPA match that I'm planning on shooting this year. The West Texas IDPA Regional is an indoor match here in Lubbock. There were 9 stages, 2 of them requiring a flashlight. I shot ESP for the first time in a couple years. Was ESP division champ, and HOA out of 110 shooters.
