It's next weekend. Is anyone else going?
Some of my friends will be there, I might go watch for a while, but I dont believe will be shooting.
What class are you shooting?
I'm shooting in SSP. This'll be my first sanctioned match as an Expert since I moved up at FL state.
ETA: wait a minute, I think I know you! Cap? It's Adam.
ETA2: why the hell aren't you shooting?

AAR: it was a good match overall with some fun stages and one not-so-fun stage!

Attendance seemed a little low. I think there were still spots open when the match started. Of course, that just meant that it was harder to win because all the really dedicated shooters were there.

We got a little rain, but the clouds kept it nice and cool.
I was running my Glock 19 which is totally stock except for a Hogue grip sleeve (my hands aren't square) and some night sights. (I'm really thinking about changing them) My holster was the Comp-Tac slide I just got which is a great piece of gear; I do need to loosen the retention a little more though. For mag pouches I used Blackhawk double-stack mag pouches. No problems with any of my gear.
I wore my hat-cam and actually remembered to film every stage this time! I wore a bracelet to remind me to put it on. When I put the camera on and hit record; I'd take the bracelet off and when the camera came off the bracelet would go back on.

I also need to thank the match sponsors. There were some great prizes given away after the match and, of course, the match wouldn't have even happened without sponsors. I'm not sure if it's ok to list all of them, but here's a list of the ones that are industry partners here on Arfcom. (Please let me know if I missed anyone.)
Brownells
Eotac
Palmetto State Armory
Very cool. I really like the box stage.

Yeah, that one was fun. Not really the kind of stage you'd typically see in IDPA, but I'm fine with it. I like any stage that involves running; that's where I finally get to have an edge over everyone!
I had a great time at the SC match. It was challenging and a lot of fun - as long as the rain stayed away.
Damn plastic guns.

I see you're in Georgia; I might know you. Were you there with the LowCountry IDPA / Liberty IDPA group?

I might be. I also might be the only guy who busts on Tupperware.
