Competition shooting Vs. static Range shooting
After quite a few years of handgun competition shooting I was forced to go back temporarily to normal range shooting (with benches, no drawing from holster etc.) with a handgun. Hard to keep a sight picture, every bit of the recoil felt. Anyone else notice this after they have been competing for a while?

Bullseye shooting or dynamic competition?
You should be okay either way, just takes time to go back and forth between speed and Bullseye.
If you shoot trap/skeet/sprting etc. and stay away for a season or two, it always takes time to get back into the groove.
