LFI II is an intense follow on to LFI I. The shooting is done double quick with the handgun with Mas and Marty and 4-5 assistant instructors constantly observing each student. Much pressure is put on each student who has to perform in front of everyone at each stage. The days are 10-12 hours long and a 4th of it is close quarters weapons retention and disarmament. My hands are black and blue now and my arms hurt so much on the plane that I couldn't sit still untill one of the passengers who is a nurse gave me some Tylenol. (I tried to Macho it out)
1/4th of the training is handgun and the drills must be done at twice the speed of LFI I. 1/4the training is shotgun and everyone who passes comes out with a great ability to put one in use. Personally my best in one of two must pass tests is getting 5 semi-auto shots into the bullseye with slugs from my 930SPX was 1.3 seconds.
1/4 of the class is building search and classroom tactics and 1/4 the class is handgun retention and disarmament.

Here Mas is teaching firing from the left side of a verticle barricade, (cover) a post is great for this drill. He went on after this pic to show how to place hands using both hands and single hand.

Marty Hays teaching proper shotgun technique using my 930 SPX. I'll write a blurb about this wonderful shotgun on the shotgun forum.
