I'm off to CSAT in a week for Paul Howe's tactical pistol instructor course. Will anyone else here be there?
There is an AAR on here from the course a while back:

It's one of the courses I'd like to do before I die, but unfortunately I just can't seem to make it down to Texas. It's reputed to be a pretty good course. It will be interesting to hear your take on it.
I want to take his tactical pistol and rifle courses. I even live in the same town as Paul I just don't seem to have the funds when he's holding a class. I've talked to a few people who have and they say it's a very good class.
Oh God, that means you are seeing how much I suck at shooting a pistol. I am taking the 2-day tactical pistol portion of the class. Which instructor are you?
I plan on posting a review of the 2-day course, it is my first and I'm really enjoying it.

Hey ZootTX. You and I weren't the only ARFCOM'ers there, actually.
On Saturday I was down on the small end of the range, with the shooters on targets 1-3. Today I was with the half of the class that had a couple of TX State Troopers and local police in it.
I hope you got something out the class. Did you see an improvement from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon? Did any of the new instructors help you at all?

I was in your group on the second day. I'm pretty sure you helped me on my grip, and with a couple of other things. I was having a difficult time with 'crunching' the trigger.
I got a LOT out of the class. I haven't had time to write a review since I'm at work today. I saw some pretty good improvement, and I know what I have to work on to get better.

Ahhh...okay. You shot a lot better on the standards with a timer than you did just banging away on the range during an exercise. I have been issued a Sig with that DAK trigger before, and it takes a lot of getting used to.
All in all I really enjoyed the instructor class, as well as dealing with the pistol students on Saturday and Sunday.

I was shooting a G19. I was probably standing next to the guy you are thinking of though, he shot awesome on the standards.

Okay, right on.
