i have an ar and been shooting left handed cause im blind in my right eye. lately i've been shooting at a friends house doing "tactical shooting" and running into situations where i need to shoot right handed. and was wondering if anyone new of a technique or an option to shoot right handed. im not a fan of lasers and dont wanna do that option if i dont have to.

I was recently shooting with a man who lost his right eye in an explosion. He shoots an AR-15 using an EOTech on a pretty high riser, apparently that helps him use the optic with his left eye, though he shoots right handed...I think...can't remember now.

He is a fantastic shot, by the way, there is no way I could match him for speed or accuracy.

I'm right-handed and left-eye dominant, so like you I shoot my long guns lefty, but I shoot handguns with my right hand. I form a sight picture off of the same eye each time, I just naturally shift the pistol a few inches left.

Hope this helps.
