These are all nice rifles but I really like this 12 ga.  Do you guys have any problems with the Saigas and 12 ga slugs?  I'm interested in getting one.

Here's my Saiga .410 conversion back to the way it always wanted to be but never could, ENJOY! In case you wonder which everybody seems to do........I bought the 10 rd mag in Russia while on vacation (about $25 ~ $30US??) and brought it home in my suitcase with some Vodochki!

I did the conversion myself and there are ZERO problems with slugs.  Also, after polishing the hammer and bottom of the bolt it runs cheap birdshot with the stock folded too...  Another pic...

Just got my Saiga .308 back from the guys at Elite Firearms. Wow, it's a true evolution. A new rifle from it's look and feel to the details like the trigger pull and grip. The best part about working with these guys is that, even for a relatively newcomer to the scene, they take the time to listen and help you create something that you'll always be proud of and happy to own.

Thanks for everything Dave and Mark. Look forward to the next one...

Can't get my pics to load, but check out this identical one listed on gunsamerica.com -

Yeah, thats what it came with. Its kind of growing on me though, at least for the 12. Fills the hand better and it looks good with the lines of the mag.

And if you squint a little its kind of the shape of a russian saiga grip.

Yeah. That guy on gunbroker has them. I keep looking and want to bid, but then I remember 1) I still have to worry about parts count, 2) they're pretty expensive for a pistol grip, and 3) even if I did buy it, I may not get it for a year anyway.

Mother of all saiga conversions.

This is a conversion.
Original Barrel just cut down
Original trunion (front)
Original bolt and bolt carrier (swapped gas piston for krink size)

Welded up all unused holes....

Gonna be working on a 102 conversion soon. Just looking for the rifle now.

Arsenal USA conversion:

Originally came with OD green NATO length stockset; I swapped for black Bulgarian stock, TAPCO SAW-type pistol grip, black KVAR lower HG and Ultimak scout mount. Gun will accept lightly modified Galil Orlite 35rd mags (shown), AK-74 polymer mags w/ Robarm follower, EG Weiger steel mags, or Bulgarian "waffle" .223 mags. Variety is the spice of life!

What did the Arsenal USA conversion cost if you don't mind telling?

[#50]

Added a rear sling point and cut down the length of the stock by 3".  This was to be an inexpensive trunk gun, so the full conversion is prob out the window but the OEM length of the Saiga stock BLOWS.  Cut down it feels much more handy and appropriate.

Anyway, cheers.
