Total safe queen, still have the original box, sling, bayonet etc.
I wonder what she’s worth these days actually.
I had a buddy over who saw it and said north of 6k. I paid $600 for it in 1997

Not for sale, just looking for an idea of a value on it.

Last I saw was in the 2-3k range. I’ve got a AKS762 but mines the Galil stock variety.

Seems to vary. I’ve seen them go for 5k in NIB condition with all accessories. I’ve also seen great examples that didn’t sell at 3500 and were presumably worth less.

If fired and without all accessories, but in great condition, prob 3200-3500 currently.

About 2500 to 3500
Upper side of 3500 with the box.

My box is in the atmosphere .
Paid 289.99 for my polytec sidefolder in 89 with a case of copperwash.

Soon as i got home tore it out of the box stomped the box tossed it in the wood stove.

Took the rifle out in the back yard and started shooting.

Sold the rifle 3x and ended up with it back all 3 times.
It's no longer for sale.

They are the nicest looking AK if you ask me.

At one time I read there were only 500 imported whether that's accurate I don’t know. Mine has been a faithful rifle but it’s also in rather poor shape appearance wise as a result of years of use.

My AKS-762 Galil has been utterly reliable and accurate. I even ran it through an AK class with no problems. It was NIB when I bought it

This last year, I scored the red Bakelite side folder and a 56 underfolder kits. Built both already. One thing I had to do was swap out the triggers for ALGs. I don’t like trigger slap in my old age.

Yep, got the same deal in 1989 - less than 300 bucks, plus a sealed tin of steel cored ammo for about 60 bucks.  Good times.

Love that rifle.
