Hey guys, what can you tell me about this barrel. It came extra with a SAR 2, 5.45x39, I picked up years ago. The rifle was Tapco'd out with the barrel threaded for an A2 flash hider so maybe he planned on replacing it at some point. It looks like a take off, definitely not new but the bore looks good, sharp rifling.     Here's the rifle before and after changing furniture. Sorry for these pics, they're like 10 years old. Looks Bulgarian based on the paint and journal size numbering with the separate serial. Does the chamber have a distinct feed ramp cut into it?

Romanian 5.45 barrels will have a distinct feed ramp cut into the chamber. They're the only ones that did that to my knowledge.

It’s Bulgarian. Romanian would have a 45* drilled gas port. Bulgarian used a 90* gas port.
