Hello, I have put together a AMD65 and need to mount a rear sling swivel, desert fox has them with a broken tab. Would this tab work to mount the swivel?

I purchased one of these and one from k-var, to replace the broken one in my milled Hungarian kit. The k-var site is not working for me right now.

I posted this in the Hungarian section but just saw this post so figured I would share if you had not seen it.
I have the correct rear sling swivel, but just before I was about to cut a slit in my receiver, I decided drilling a hole would be much easier, AND I could actually have a swivel that could SWIVEL...
I used an HK93 swivel and it works great

I like it! Mind if I copy the idea?

You can make your own out of sheet metal.  It doesn’t need heat treated or anything special.  I have done a few and never had any problems with them pulling out.

Any reason I couldn’t use a milled M70 side swivel that APEx sells on my AMD?

you can use any swivel you want, I just thought drilling a hole was easier than cutting a slit, and like I said, now I have a swivel that spins around and not just flips back and forth...

I am about to use the regular swivel with the tab on a wire folder because the hole is already there, and I just have to rivet it on.  It will only flip back and forth, but I am good with that.  I always take the easiest route
