A guy at my local public range was shooting an AK-V and I went over to chat with him about. Nice guy and offered me a mag to shoot through it.
What a nice shooting rifle. Super smooth and very nice recoil pulse. This one had what appeared to be some kind of fancy jmac style hand guards and a similar looking folding brace. I don’t think the brace was jmac though. With a red dot and suppressor, a decked out AK-V would be absolutely crazy. It is making me think very hard about getting one and decking it out. Show me your AK-Vs please!! |

 Attached FileI have this one. it's been fabulous. Highly recommended. I think they had their teething pains in the beginning but they've gotten all the kinds worked out. PSA mags are awesome too and $17ea. Sometimes they go on sale for 15. |

I always wait until last to shoot the ak-v because it's so fun.
I can blow through 10-15 mags easily in one range trip. Get a spare extractor and recoil assembly if you are going to shoot thousands of rounds through it. |

AK-V, case, 10 mags, $999.
One of the best and worst decisions in my life. It led me down the path to a Resilient RS9. Stupid PSA.  Attached FileOh, if you're gonna do it, get the one with the ALG trigger.
