I miss the salad days when these kits first arrived. Arabic marked crutch folders. All matching kits.

I grabbed an Arabic marked fixed stock kit when they first came in. I don’t remember how much it was but it wasn’t four figures like these current ones. Unfortunately the AK47 parts kits have been going up in price for the last 10 years but really shot up in the last 2 -3. Prices that the foreign suppliers are asking are ridiculous . We have been turning down deals on a regular basis because of the astronomical costs. They are going to price themselves out of business at some point.

Especially see if you can get the Finns to give up a few East German AKs they got saved for a rainy day. Maybe offer them a swap for some M4s or AR15’s?

Bought mine from Apex along with a virgin WASR populated barrel for $50 or $75. Been meaning to build it for years, just haven't had the time.
