I like a couple of PSA AK models. I'm not as patient as I used to be with returning a gun needing warranty service.

If a person acquires a new PSA AK and puts several hundred rounds through it, what is the chance something will come up that requires the gun be sent back for servicing?

.87% chance. Higher if you’re left handed.

I have 5 PSA AK's and all are running very well and get shot often. Several hundreds of rounds on each and all without issues.

My PSA AK101 556 has been fine.
Shoots shockingly well too.
Five shots of the Federal TRU with 55 gr Game Kings grouped 1.31 inches edge to edge at 100 yds from the bench using a rest.

Many say the fit and finish of PSA AKs is very good.

I think I mentioned in the past, if they made a milled AK that ran well and priced it reasonably, they'd have a guaranteed success.

All of my PSAK 7.62x39 guns run great; one GF5 AKM build, and a GF4 that I run suppressed with a Dead Air PBS-1 and KNS Piston. However, I have one of their AK-101's that's been out for 5-6 weeks due to light primer strike issues and possible headspace issues that started somewhere around 600-700 rounds.

Same here.  I have a late production G3 in x39 with somewhere around 600 rounds through it.  Zero issues.

PSA had some growing pains early on with their AKs.  From my observations, they ironed them out in the G3 production, and certainly the current gens are GTG.

Someone claimed there's a 50/50 chance you'll have an issue with a PSA AK. Maybe that is the past but not now.

If by "current gens" you mean G4 and G5, I read the same care is put into manufacturing those as the G3 with the difference being features.

I have just south of 2k through a gf3 since Dec 2021, without incident. I’m sure, as with any platform, sustained rate of fire, also plays a role. Mine has been used in two courses, with some mag dumps, but nothing crazy.

I shoot left handed and probably have run about a 2,587 steel cased Russian ammo rounds out of my PSAAK-47 GF3-E with zero issues. Your mileage may vary.

I have a 1 year old G3 with the ALG trigger that was on a "Blem" sale. Only upgrades were Magpul furniture and an Ultimak rail for a Vortex reddot. 400 plus rnd and not a single hick up. Both irons and the reddot Bang steel at a 100yds (6 inch plate). I shoot lefty too.
