where did he get the muzzle on the dracos at the bottom of your post. or did he make these??
I NEED IT!
where can i get these??
i was looking to grab a draco for the sbr project and doing the form 1 but welding this muzzle to the barrel looks great and would save the 200

ANY of you guys done the weld job for longer barrel?
any issues?
cheaper than the stamp?

Yes, its still tax return season.
Done with hand drill and a couple files.
But I went very slowly.

The worn mag is my favorite.

Zombie pistol complete with zombie tracking bulldog

Pretty much done. Wouldn't mind throwing a cheap red dot or reflex sight on it. A laser might come in more handy for shooting from the hip. It's a fun little bugger though :)

Start with small drill bits and work your way up. The largest I used was a 1/2in. Then moved on to files.
Fit check everything, often.
Took me about four hours. And I even made the kids some lunch about half way through.
Please post pics when you get yours finished.

Well, I just got a polish underfolder kit, and an NDS-3.
I welded up the lower holes for a wood stock. I am blueing the reciever this weekend, then I will start on drilling out the holes for the underfolder. I will take detailed pics as I go. And when Im finished will post them for yall.

This is the NDS-3 receiver with the wood stock hole welded up, ready to redrill for underfolder trunnion.
But what we are concerned about is the holes for the underfolder assy. I used a drill bit and gauged it from the inside center of each hole to the top of the receiver, and made a mark on the drill bit and on top of the receiver. Moved the bit to the outside of the reciever and lined up my two marks.

Start small. They are not dead center but close enough.

I did install another set of rivets to make certain the trunnion would not shift on me.
Gradually work up drill bit sizes. 11/64 was the largest I used for the locking lugs. Then hit it with the files. These take the longest.
The center will get drilled out to 1/2in before I start the file work.

Fit check OFTEN.
Remember, this photo is for a Polish underfolder assy. The Draco only has one set of locking lugs on the left side of the receiver. So only the left side lug holes need to be drilled and fitted for.

I can get more aggressive with the center hole. Notice the only other files I used on the table. The center hole is faster to work out. You can get real close with the aggressive file. Fit check OFTEN.

To quickley see where you need to file. Hold the receiver up to the light and you can see the out line that needs filled down to the trunnion. Believe it or not, it is the most accurate aside from fit checking. Sorry no photo.

Notice the oval shape on the lug holes. The locking lugs are oval, no need to waste time filling out more than needed.
Fit check OFTEN.

Everything fit checks good.
Drill a hole for a small punch to push out the pin the holds the spring button. Sorry no pic. will get one.
And install the pistol grip before you assemble the underfolder assy. The center section is too big to allow the nut assy to drop in the hole.

I was surprised at how well the Bart Brake works.  The fireball is still the same only it is directed sideways instead of forward but the Brake definitely keeps the muzzle down to where you can actually do double-taps and keep both rounds within a inch of each other at 50 feet.  Once I get the rail mount and my Aimpoint Micro installed it will be not only more accurate but more fun to shoot as well.

I'm loving the shit out of my Bart brake too. The Draco can be pretty accurate with some trigger work and good sights, and the brake definitely helps keep it on target.

It's the standard size Ultimak rail (not the compact or extra long), and to make it work you have to drill and tap two new mounting points for the barrel clamp into the rail. You have to make sure they're straight or the clamp will bind on the barrel and make the handguard torque to the left or right. Also, you may need to mill out some material at the front in order for the rail to clear your muzzle device. I used a Russian AK-104 hider on my SBR and it was necessary so the rail could be tightened up fully.

Here's mine in it's current form. Midwest Industries Micro-Dot mount, Primary Arms MD-06, 20 round Romanian AMIR/"Tanker" mag, K-Var Russian Plum furniture,
Tapco 74-style brake, and my home made QD sling mount. It's a loop of nylon webbing, which just goes onto the receiver and gets sandwiched in by the T-bolt and
the grip, holding a Fastex-style buckle for a single point sling loop on the body.

I bought this Draco with the Ultimak top rail.  It was cut down but not honed to fit the gas tube, so a bit of work with a Unibit allowed the rail to properly fit.  It also had a OD green Magpul MOE grip and Ace grip adapter (changed the color to black) and a Tapco trigger retainer.  I added the Tapco mags, Ultimak lower rail and Bushnell TRS-25.  Future plans include a pignose, Magpul milspec CTR stock, Magpul vertical grip, single point sling w/Troy Industries castle nut sling mount, Tapco G2 single starge trigger and Alumalite muzzle brake/barrel extension (pinned and welded).  Once I get everything situation the plan is to Duracoat the frame of the Draco to match the other hardware (HK Black).

I really dig that. Is that optic mounted on an ultimak, if so any modification to get the galil style handguard to work? thanks

The only thing I had to do was shorten the switch on the handguard retainer so that I could install the galil forearm after installing the ultimak.

Sorry for the poor quality, I took these with my cell phone earlier this summer.

US Palm Battle Grip, VM1 Sling Plate, US Palm Magazine (lighter, less wobble but expensive and harder to load after 25 rounds) Tromix oversized charging handle, Polished up the bolt carrier, Krebs Custom Safety (modified to work with Tromix handle, re-blued to match) Samson K Rail with Primary Arms Micro Dot, Tapco Slant brake, refinished handuards, modified to fit Magpul MOE short rail for my flashlight (both not pictured) replaced front sight post with a ball post that I polished up because I busted the original trying to fix a slight cant.  1500+ rounds through it this summer of Uly and Norinco China Sport ammo, only one malfunction with the chinese ammo... bad primer, pin struck it dead center, that Draco eats up anything and spits fire, I LOVE IT!
