I loaded each of them into the magwell about 10 times to work them in a bit. Still, 2 of them are really sticky. They are preventing the mag release from locking into place without a couple of extra jiggles. But for the money the others are pretty damn good. The two problem children might get the dremel! |

Caveat Emptor buying from Classic, hope you catch them on a good day, last batch of mags I got were pathetic, one even had a huge split in the side that someone had tried to cover up by gooping it up with paint, this after I had been promised NEW mags.
I wish I had seen your post before ordering. They were advertised as being in "various" condition. That was accurate. The way they came packaged it was obvious that they group the mags into boxes based upon condition, then package your order with some from each box to give you a mix. Condition ranged from nice to poor. I'll see what I can do to clean up the poor ones and see how they eventually shape up. There is some "mystery crud" on a lot of them. I guess this will be the last time I do business with these guys. |

Update to the $20 Classic Firearms AK mags.
Ordered five of these. Three were in good shape, one had the finish almost completely worn off, and one was in decent shape. Two of them had a steel washer/tab thing welded to the front, which I've never seen before and have no idea why it's there. Fast processing and shipping, but describing them overall as in "very good - excellent" condition (and not mentioning that some may have the weird steel washer on the front) is bullshit. Here's a pic of the worst one http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y445/ThatDaveGuy1/photo_zpsf4b99e67.jpg and a closeup of that weird washer/tab thing on the front. http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y445/ThatDaveGuy1/photo2_zpsedf53f03.jpg |

I just got my 4 from them. Covered in cosmoline & oil, but otherwise fine. No major wear, dings, dents, or rust. Luck of the draw it seems. I got mags from them in terrible condition in the past. But $20 in this market it was worth it to me. |

APEX has Romanian steel 30s for $20. Everything I've gotten from them has been excellent, seems a better bet than Classic Arms.

I ordered 10 from Classic Firearms - I think they may need to stress the "mixed bag" aspect a little more.
I took all of them apart, cleaned them up, applied a light coating of oil and reassembled. One was new, never been loaded. Three were very good condition; no dings, very little wear. Three were good condition; some edge wear but worked fine. Three are for the parts bin; follower got stuck in the body after loading - I assume from these dents: The math makes those $20 mags more like $28 mags... |

I've ordered a fair amount from Robert over the years (including AK74 stuff, Uzi stuff, G3 stuff and other). He sells great, often hard-to-find products for very decent prices with great customer service. You can't beat that... And I hadn't noticed that he had the used Polish mags back in stock until I saw this thread but, once seeing it, I put my money where my mouth is and ordered some more of the used Polish mags. I ordered them a little over two days ago and they've already shipped... Forrest |

Midway, Bulgarian polymer mags, $20, limit 5
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/845061/military-surplus-magazine-ak-47-762x39mm-russian-30-round-polymer-black Does anybody know if these are true military surplus (as in their military uses them so they're great quality), aka Circle 10 mags? I know the Bulgarian bullet marked mags are made for the civilian market, but the picture doesn't show any bullets on these so I was wondering if they're going to be built to mil-spec so to speak. |

Noticed a couple of places recently lowered prices on their steel mags, CDNN dropped the price of their Bulgarian steel mags $5 to $25, and Centerfire Sys dropped the price of their Hungarian 20rd mags $10 to $25 also. Both companies offering free shipping, that's a big change from the last 5 months!

I ordered five of those Bulgarian steel mags from CDNN during the height of the craziness. It took a few weeks, but I got the mags no problem--brand new and drenched in oil.
|
|
|
I've been ordering from CDNN for a year or so (pre-craziness). Bought some of their clear bulgarian mags, and have been happy with them. I will buy from them any day over the gougers at CTD.

|
|
I've done 3 orders with CDNN during the craziness, and everything has worked out great.

I bought 20 from CDNN about a month ago. Flawless transaction and very happy with the Bulgarian mags as advertised.
