Waiting on the Blue Tupperware grips but thought I would dig everything out for a family picture and post it here, even though the Hungarian forum is dead...

Very nice DK! We need a dedicated pic thread in this section like the others have.

I have added several new Hungarian AKs lately.  I need to update the picture when I get back from my short trip

Includes the 48M and 52M Mosins made by FEG, the 43M that is sporterized and I'm still having a hard time finding stuff for it.

The M95's in 8x56 both FEG made long rifle and carbine 31M and the smattering of AK63 and AMD-65 series.

All were fine and dandy being zeroed and were spot on.

very nice.  I can't stop collecting Hungarian "Stuff".

Magazine pouches, bayonets.  Just when I think I am done I see something else that I MUST have..

Another rescued SA85M

This time one of the AMD65 short gas block versions.

Didn't want to SBR it yet.

It looks nice.

Nice, do you have a bayonet to fit that?

I have some Hungarian made bayonets but it won't fit it.

My problem is that I was already half way to finishing it up before I discovered it was a short gas block setup.

To make the bayonet fit means I have to bring the front site back about one inch and then SBR it.

It would be a very odd setup.

My backup plan is to to do an extended rail and then use the Geisselle Stubby mount for a bayonet.

Or just buck it and shortened it but it would be very odd looking.

There isn't any real way around the short gas block setup.
