WOW! Nice work!

Here's another shot of an early RRA receiver that shows the markings better:

I don't know if I can post this or not but I'll give it a try. If not I'll email it to you and you can reduce the size. I removed the S/N with Photoshop already.

A couple "Blue Label" transitional Sporter Lightweights from my gray Colt collection.  You don't have these calibers listed yet:

PS:  The GM Hydramatic photo was cut/cropped by me and posted on a different thread.   I do not remember where I saved it from, so credit to that photo should go to "unknown".

Someone should make a photo database of UPPER RECEIVER markings.  Biggenhammer is so out of date!

Someone else was holding it while I was trying to photograph it.    He was like a kid who never held a gun before, kept oohing and aaahing and wouldn't let go of the thing or put it back on the rack.  So finally I said, "Please, hold still!"    The photo originally looked like this:

Here's one I saved from another member here because it had "Colt Defense".

Here's LMT's lower that another member posted here a few months ago.  Maybe they'll recognize the hair at the bottom and claim the photo:

I am guessing that Balimoy made them for the Army also as I took these photos from a rifle out of the weapons pool at Fort Sill.

Ah, cool, I'll edit the photos to credit them.

Photo credit for the Balimoy goes to CAR-AR-M16? I can add that. BTW is that an M16A1 receiver with an A2 overstamp? That's what it looks like.

Wow, me too. But it does not look like a military rifle either. I have never seen a full auto A2 in the military but I could be wrong. I bet that was a custom order of some kind.

I guess because it was stamped M16A2 I though it might be military but I suppose they sold them to LE, foreign nations and even civvies before 1986.
