Oops, sorry it's not mine (yet), I should have said that it's Denny's first build of this new model.
I'm still working on my precision rifle projects for now but I'm sure I'll get Denny's new 6.8 mm when the SBR bug bites me later.

Here is a Denny’s 1/9 twist recon barrel with his upper I did last summer for a Coyote build. Camouflaged with dura coat tiger strip.

Thank you, here's a few more:   Of the rifles I own I think I shoot this one the most. It's light weight makes it easy to take along and it's easy to shoot, so it goes with me often. |

Just wanted to show my work in progress. Hey Denny, can you get me a hard chromed, Young Manufacturing bolt carrier to finish this off?
Denny's Operator barrel; CMT upper with M4 ramps (they match beautifully); DD 9.0 rail from an earlier Group Buy; Aimpoint copy from the guy in Canada (for range use only); Stag lower, with the deer head!; Ultor adjustable stock, Magpul MIAD, and trigger guard. Having a hard time shooting for groups. For me the Accupoint doesn't work well on normal targets (Hard to consistantly hold on the same spot at 100 yards) I think I'll have better luck this weekend just using some one inch dots. I'll let you know. I think the Accupoint is more of a hunting optic (animals and men), not a paper puncher, but I built this for 3-gun, javalina, and coyotes. |

well heres my upper, the rifle is in its baby stage, I have a Black PRS and a US Optics 1-4 with the DOE reticle Im waiting on for this bad boy. When I get the lower togeather I will have pics updated.

Well I finally finished my second GTS Lower build on Saturday. This one took a trip to the shop for some welding.
Yes Virginia you can build a 1 piece free floated 14.5" upper with a perminate attached FS. Just choose the best rail out there and you won't have to worry about changing it. As far as gas system maintenance, you can still pull the FSB ahead on the barrel to do that. Details: Lower: Receiver - Dennys GTS by Stag/CMT LPK - CMT (from Dennys) Stock - Vltor Clubfoot (Bravo Company) Buffer - CMT H2 (Bravo) Grip - MagPul MIAD (Denny) KNS pins (Denny) MI single point adapter QD style (Bravo) D&H black teflon mag with grey Gen2 Magpul follower (44mag) Upper: Receiver - CMT M4 T-marked - (Denny) BCG and CH- CMT M16 with MP tested bolt (Denny) BUIS - Troy (Denny) Optic - Aimpoint Comp ML2 (PK Firearms) Optic mount - LaRue 150 (G&R) Barrel- Colt M4A1 SOCOM (Skich) FF Rail - Larue 7.0 (LaRue direct) Rail Covers - TangoDown and MagPul (LaRue and Bravo) VFG - TangoDown (Denny) Flash Suppressor - YHM 5C2 Phantom (Denny, perm attached by me) Sling - Modified Tactical Taylor 3 point with Uncle Mikes QD swivels The final piece came Monday, Surefire M952C with LaRue offset mount from Calvin - Brightflashights      Hack weld job   Surefire!   And finally with its brother Operator build from earlier in the thread. It now carries a Harris bipod (had) on a LaRue QD mount (Denny) and MagPul ranger plate (Denny) added to the D&H mag.  I sold off a lot of stuff to build these two rifles. Two LMT uppers and two CMMG uppers to start, as well as some DPMS lowers and assorted other things that I had from about 9 years of building these rifles. I still have some stuff to sell, I hope to break even . I am very happy to have two "good" rifles now. I'm also very happy with the service I received from all of the vendors listed. I've delt with many of the vendors on this board and Denny is one of the best in my opinion. I also want to note Paul at Bravo Company for taking care of some issues I've had and PK Firearms on a quick order that included that CompML2.I plan on using only GTS lowers in the future (as long as they are available) and am already working on a BCM middy build. |

Yes, the barrel itself is a Noveske "Infidel" barrel, a new model for 2006 or so Im told. Its 13" and change and with the KX3 clocking in at 3.1" the overall build is 16.1" I am going for the streamlined look with the 13.2 LaRue. Whats even better, is you can look for this upper, once its complete in a up coming hunting DVD and an in progress TV series on The Outdoor Life Network. Denny does good work for sure. I will be posting more pics and pics from targets starting next week, as well a footage or links of footage here in the future. Need to edit and compress some of it. |

Thanks NMS, your build is excellent as well. Infact, I plan on the exact same build down the road. The current build is a BCM 16" middy that I hae decided to do as a semi-KISS rifle as a back up to the rest of the fleet. Probably a LaRue 9.0, CMT M4 stock, LMT BUIS, no optics, Denny's GTS lower etc. |

Built another upper tonight. Denny had BCM (Bravo Company Manufacturing) 16" gov profile uppers in stock a week or so back. I figured I would jump on one. I really want to do another Operator barrel based build configured like this but I figured this would due for now. I plan on this being the back-up to the other rifles in my stable so this doesn't get any optics.
It's mounted to the lower from my Operator build for these pics. As soon as Denny gets more of his Lowers in (next month) I'll go ahead and build a lower for it.  LMT Defender 2000 16" M4 CAR. Magpul MIAD grip/ ladder covers/ mag parts and KNS parts from Denny. KAC M4 RAS, VFG, LMT BUIS, LMT M16 BCG, Vltor CAR modstock, D&H mags and SF G2 tac light with DD offset mount from EE. I reconfigured my Operator from a 13.2" rail and scope to a 9.0 and EOTech.
Before  After  The 13.2 in bulid was replaced with this Noveske barreled upper. This SP1 Colt came into the shop the other day and I looked it over and other than a little soot on the gas tube she looked like new.
I resisted, I really, really did. But in the end she came home with me today. DAMN THE BRD Here are some pics they may be good for reference. Serial number is 9643X so I would guess her around 1978 or 1979.     Denny, BRD Carrier and Victim
