They look great and I like the clear window

but

I wonder how the feedlips will hold up?  Are they reinforced with aluminum?

Great pricing by the way!

Should be interesting for a Truck gun build. I'll have to give some of these a try.

Regarding the Glock mags...
The mag catch on the Glock pistol is also made of polymer where as the mag catch on the AR is metal...
I could see that as the wear potential...

Sure done did, Hawkeye.

rich what if you molded in some sorta device so you could couple two mags together similar to that sig 550 series mags?

Okay, I'll be the first cheese ball.
I don't really care either way, but I think a transparent quality AR mag would sell like hotcakes. Even the old clear Eagle mags are still in high demand and they're complete junk. The SIG 556 guys alone would probably buy more than you could make.

Same here.  Taking that design and going a step further..  you could almost go all the way to making a water tight mag.

But as it is it looks to already be sand proof.

It's the end of the world. markm is praising a Magpul product?

Then why are you asking if they can be had for less than CProducts mags? I'm confused.

-Estimated retail price will be $11.95 for non window and $14.95 for dual Maglevel version.

CProducts teflon mags are less than that from 44mag.com

I think these are two awesome recommendations. I'd sooner buy a transparent mag with coupling "tabs/slots". Not saying these MagPul mags aren't sweet, but I'd probably go more out of my way to get transparent ones.

Transparent would be very nice.

Hopefully some day there will be a completely reliable, preloaded, disposable magazine. Pop off top, insert into rifle, discard when empty.

Hmm...I can't help but point out that ARDEC is in the midst of it's own 30 round composite magazine, featured at last years Joint Services Small Arms Systems Annual Symposium: www.dtic.mil/ndia/2006smallarms/foltz.pdf.

I wonder if they'd be interested in the PMAG, and is that a MagPul follower on pages 4 and 6...

I think if you live where high capacity is still illegal then you can't own one of these mags. I don't live where they are restricted.
