They look great and I like the clear window
but I wonder how the feedlips will hold up? Are they reinforced with aluminum? Great pricing by the way! |
Should be interesting for a Truck gun build. I'll have to give some of these a try.

Regarding the Glock mags...
The mag catch on the Glock pistol is also made of polymer where as the mag catch on the AR is metal... I could see that as the wear potential... |
Sure done did, Hawkeye. |
rich what if you molded in some sorta device so you could couple two mags together similar to that sig 550 series mags?
Plastic Mag Catches for AR's by Magpul? |
Then why are you asking if they can be had for less than CProducts mags? I'm confused. |
Okay, I'll be the first cheese ball.
I don't really care either way, but I think a transparent quality AR mag would sell like hotcakes. Even the old clear Eagle mags are still in high demand and they're complete junk. The SIG 556 guys alone would probably buy more than you could make. |
It's the end of the world. markm is praising a Magpul product? |
CProducts teflon mags are less than that from 44mag.com |
Again, you already have the prices so you already knew the answer. Still confused, but whatever. Back to the mags. |
I think these are two awesome recommendations. I'd sooner buy a transparent mag with coupling "tabs/slots". Not saying these MagPul mags aren't sweet, but I'd probably go more out of my way to get transparent ones.

Kudos MP for designing another great product, you guys are having way to much fun at work .
I'll take a 10 pack of O/D group buy anyone |
+1 I am all about it. |

sweet, cant wait to check them out on friday. finally a polymer mag thats worth having.
Transparent would be very nice.
Hopefully some day there will be a completely reliable, preloaded, disposable magazine. Pop off top, insert into rifle, discard when empty. |
Going to take a helluva price point for that to happen though. |
I'm still not sold that he is being serious |
Missed the part about this week but I am in for 10 |
Hmm...I can't help but point out that ARDEC is in the midst of it's own 30 round composite magazine, featured at last years Joint Services Small Arms Systems Annual Symposium: www.dtic.mil/ndia/2006smallarms/foltz.pdf.
I wonder if they'd be interested in the PMAG, and is that a MagPul follower on pages 4 and 6... |
Wow, I missed the transition to Magpul whore! |
My original post wasn't interrogative. I think you're confused. I never asked if the Cproducts mags were cheaper than the Magpuls.
Are aluminum mags not suitable for truck usage? |
While transparent would be even cooler I'll still be looking at 10 or so (with window).
And the Foliage Green MIADs to go with my FG CTR? |
Magpul must have been purchased by Colt! |
Magpul, you should offer these LEO marked and NON-LEO marked for the unfree states. |
Fixed it for you, Jethro! |
I'd like to pick up 9 of the BLK w/ window. How do we go about ordering?
Didnt see this mentioned, how much do they weigh compared to say a standard USGI mag?
Did they fall off the face of the earth... They tease us with the mag and then stop postin leavin us all wondering if it was just a pleasant dream? lol
SHOT Show time. |
There is this little event called the SHOT show, which starts tomorrow, that I believe they are at. They may not be able to respond until Monday or Tuesday. |
Im sure thats why they havnt responded yet. ill have to seem them for my self on friday. |
We are at the Shot Show alright. This is coming from the floor of the show.
Restricted markings are an inset in the mold and can be removed during molding. We have to have the markings to sell to LE in 5 or so states. Come by and see us we have some other new stuff to show. |
You are killing me...... |
Are other calibers going to offered? Like 6.8, 6.5, or any other?
Why Wouldn't they be? . I Just would like to give these new mags some heavy testing to see how much they can take. Nathan |
I was thinking that exact same thing |
