I love the lighting in your pics. If you get a minute, I'd really like to know more about how you set those shots up. PM is fine.

Nice rifle too BTW.

That is one of the most beautiful shots on this site!  Can my D40X accomplish shots like that?  I haven't had the nerve to take it off "auto" yet!  =)

LOL!

Sure your D40x can do it. You will need a tripod. Set it on "A" (aperture priority mode). Set the F stop @ 8.0 and let the camera choose the shutter time.

Try it.

Why did you put the scope on a GG&G riser, which it turn requires that you raise the PRS cheek piece?  Wouldn't it better to mount the scope directly on the ARMS rail?  Unless the objective lens is too big to clear the handguard......

I have a USO scope that needs a riser in order for its objective to clear too  That scope is just too big even for an AR10, it now sits on a bolt gun.

Recently had three lowers laser engraved by www.class3sales.com I present for your viewing pleasure.  The tired Punisher icon engraving was forced upon me by the lower's serial number 006669     The ghost image is from a previous in place vinyl decal.

Actually, that one was gift (someone had STOLEN a U.S.A. made flag and pole off of my front porch).  I was pissed, so a neighbor gave it to me as not seeing ol'Glory flying on my house made her mad.  I later replaced it with a "Made in the U.S.A." version.  I keep this one in my basement, but also as a reminder...

Send the chi-glory to the local VFW or American Legion to be properly burned, is my suggestion..hinking.gif

I've heard of gas and electric operated chain saws and lawn mowers.... But an electric AR may be pushing the "Eco Friendly" line a bit too far!

Nice Closet! I love the lighting. Not to be negative, but I'd mount them up the wall sideways so you could see the profiles. Might not be as quick access if hell broke out, but sure would be nice to sit and stare at. Now if I can just find a place in the house to build another closet......

Sweet!

Okay, here are "the girls."  Siggy Sue is wearing an EO Tech and two coupled 40 round mags.  Carrie Anne sports a chrome bolt carrier group and a stainless steel barrel with a 30 round mag.  Sorry the picture is not the greatest, but I do shoot a rifle better than I shoot a camera. (This is my first time trying to post a picture.  Hope I followed the directions right).

Here is my new AR.  It is a RRA Elite CAR A4.  I added an ambi-safety when I had my dealer order it.  It took right at 5 weeks to arrive.  They quoted 8-12 weeks but said that they were getting them shipped sooner!

Which dealer did you go through?  I heard there's a 6 month wait on special order uppers and lowers, but only 2 - 5 weeks for completes.  Guess they finally completed their Govt order...

Oh brother!  Sorry fellas.  Looks like my picture isn't hosted correctly.

Your picture is hosted correctly but it's to large 1960 X 1917 resolution, you should reduce it to about 1024 X 768 or less.

If you have the latest Windows, view your photo as a thumbnail in your computer folder, then right click the mouse, select resize, select large or medium, then load that smaller picture to your host.

If you don't see the resize selection, go to the MS Windows site and download the free resizing program option.

When you view your pic in your host site, right click the mouse pointed at your pic and select properties, you will see your pic address and copy it, just add the (img) and (/img) at the front and end of the address without any spaces (substitute [ and ] symbols to the parenthesis symbols).

Here's the link of your large pic:

I wanna do that only I will use much smaller strips of tape and make it curve more since there are no perfectly straight lines in nature.

I took my inspiration from the WW II Navy ships and their cool designs. I tried thin lines but did not like the look. More of a personal thing though.

I think that effect is called "dazzle" and there was a company offering DC jobs in different color combos using the dazzle effect.  It's not a bad idea.  Just hard to pull off.

ETA:  Sorry for the multiple posts.  Just had some catching up to do.  Replied as I saw fit.  Will post pics soon and you will like them!
