sorry for the bad pics but this is the best camera ive got to work with.

This is my first project rifle that i built from the ground up part by part.  It started life as a stripped lower and eventually accumulated to what it is now.

Here are the specs:

Spikes Tactical Lower
RRA lower parts kit w/ KNS receiver pins
Magpul MIAD pistolgrip
VLTOR collapsible stock
Stag Arms 2H upper w/ ARMS #40 BUIS

it's all it really needs. I save peel washers for critical timing on certain comps and silencer adapters. Crush washers work great for most applications.


I thought the newer style Vortex didnt require a washer of any kind? I thought it was to rest againt the shoulder of the barrel?

That is a pretty cool story, I will admit.  I thought he was going to put it on his mantle.  Why do you guys have it?

And take note, he could keep firing his weapon without doing anything because it's mounted on his handle.  Something which alot of people on this sight think is stupid.

It's probably back in his hands now.  We were not going to keep it.  I don't mind the ACOG on the carry handle, it was designed to be there.  I think it's easier to use on a flattop though.

-LaRue Tactical 12" Stealth upper assembly w/11" LaRue FF Quad Rail and 1/8 twist.
-Noveske Lower
-Rock River Arms 2-stage trigger with 3lb pull.
-Aimpoint M68 CCO with 2 MOA dot.  LaRue M68 mount.
-Troy front/rear flip BUIS
-LMT SOPMOD stock
-MagPul MIAD grip
