Can the X3 accept any pila batteries? I have 150A batteries of wolf eye cobra M90x turbo. I wonder I can use the same batteries for the X3.

Does the X3 beam point straight like laser or flood? Is there enough sidespill light?

The X3 has fairly good hotspot but still with excellent flood.

Here's the VLTOR CK mounts -

You do have to tighten them down very tight so it's not exactly quick relase.

Thats the X2, right?

Two questions.

1) Have you tried it with an X3 yet?

2) Does the ring elevate the light so that the bezel clears the rail? Or does the light need to be pushed forward so the bezel extends past the front of the rail?

I want to try one of these provided it will work where I have my light mounted.

The VLTOR mount+ the x3 will not allow the bezel to clear the rail.  It will have to be moved past the rail.

Just mounted the L2-HA using a viking mount onto my YHM foregrpped Bushmaster. The light/mount are very nice. I am using a no name vfg from Midway and the set up seems tight and good to go. The fit and finish of the light was outstanding. Many have said that Pentagon is giving 90%-95%  of Surefire's perf at 65-80% of the cost. That seems true to date. I will put a few hundred rounds thru the set up this tues and will report back . I do not anticpate any probs given the recoil impulse of an AR and the LED nature of the L2.

PS A big thumbs up to John at Rainier Arms (aka Teknic on the EE board). His prices were more than fair and the light and mounts shipped the same day I ordered.

Hello...my name is BrainOnSigs and I have a Pentagon X3-HA addiction......

I just bought my third in two months. One for my RRA AR (with the clicky tailcap), one for the bedstand and one for the truck.

I think I'll buy one for a Xmas gift for my father-in-law to put on his boat.

I love all my Pentagon lights.  The Xenons and the LEDs work fantastic!  I'll be using them on all my builds from now on.

Pentagon has an X4 Xenon which is supposed to push 250 lumens.  It should be out later this year I think.

Any idea if they will have a small light like the Streamlight M3 or the SureFire X200?

L2-HA UPDATE-

200+ rounds out of 16 BM.  Mounted in a Viking Offset mount on a YHM 4 rail (Non FF), No Name VFG.  1-35 yards.

Light performed well. Provides a very white light with a well regulated "Hot Spot." I could  easily see  in  otherwise total darkeness. The click tail cap was easy to modulate.

The LED is so much whiter and brighter than as compared to a G2/6p and M3 set ups that were on the line.  While not a 120+ lumen system, it seemed brighter than its 60+ lumen counterparts.

In short, the L2 is a real 60+ lumen light  that is  shock isolated, with a click tail cap in at a price point that is very favorable to a g2 with the add on shock bezel and click tailcap.

I am sold on LED ( at least for distances unde 50 m) and on Pentagon. As always YMMV.

3). Buy a PentagonLight L2 without my wife knowing about it

We can include a fake invoice in the box that shows a sale price of $19.99

I have a wife too. It is far easier to fake a price than hide a new toy you always want to play with...

I might have to buy something just for the fake invoice.

Thats sweet
