this is what he said no where did he say it was a department issued weapon, i dont know about law enforcement agencies where you are from, but here the only issued weapon is a glock 22, all other weapons carried by officers are purchased with there hard earned salaries, now if you get real technical they are payed with tax dollars so i guess you were right all along hock.gif |

Woohoo!!! I spent a lot of time on that AR and I have been using it well. The KG gunkote job I did has been holding up really well. The only wear marks are around the base of the mag well where it constantly rubs against the inner walls of my case. This ain't no safe queen. |

lol, I hope the taxpayers didn't have to pay for the maintenance of those side burns...
the one i seen with the punisher skulls on it was really cool looking but i cant seem to find it.
Funny shit, I mean it. I think the only reason I still have those things is to get a rise out of people. I pay out of my pocket for my "patrol style hair cut". And I also use the burns to kill civilian.........ladies. I'm sure DLman was wondering. |

well, I was looking in my closet and saw this one. and I have to say mine is the best one I have seen lol! |

When fighting an army of soldiers armed with those rifles, who needs artillery spotters? J/K Cool rifle! |
Actually I posted the picture of 7KOPPER's Rifle. He was mearly putting in his two cents as about 30% of the resopnses concern his rifle and DLMan123's posts about it. I will not waste my time on responding to the rest of your comments. I said it was a "patrol car rifle" to elorabrate on it's mission, not ownership. (Rich I just trimmed the other crap - to keep the thread on track - Cheers, Kevin) |

Guys, please try to ignore the trolls, I know its hard, but feeding them isn't helping anything.

sorry, Im new... was trying to reply to this... |

Warning sent to those that are stirring the pot without need. Keep it on track, do not call people names. It's really not that difficult.

I appreciate your civil reply, and probably could have worded my words to 7kopper less harsh. I want to go on record as being very in favor of heavily armed police. I have worked with many and have relatives who are officers, the majority of whom I thoroughly respect. I can also spot an officer who has that horrific god complex a mile away. Your friend seems that to me, but maybe I am wrong. That said, this is a thread about pics of great AR's, and I'm sorry I don't have one (pic, I mean). |

Its very nice, dont get me wrong but that "Restricted" receiver throws me off track a bit... Besides that though, its super clean looking |

Those must be Reid Knights. Nice pics. (edit to clean out other stuff) |

Quoted:
These two have been around the block a few times img368.imageshack.us/img368/5139/2m16s8dn.jpg[/quot Those have to be the dirtyest M-16/M-4's I have ever seen. Don't clean em they have charictor. But I have to ask how do they run when they are like that? |
You do realize that external appearances have absolutely NOTHING to do with function, right? That most other people don't shed a tear and run for the cold blue when their rifle gets a boo-boo? That the hardware pictured is not average equipment, and consequently entrusted to competent users/operators, who may know a thing or two more about firearms use/maintenance than trollish you??
Thought so. PS. You're a Cali import, aren't you? |
You don't know is all you had to say. And you know nothing of the history of ar's their tight tolerances and the smallest amount of dust. But since you thought the need to say something I think I should tell you that you are a troll for not reading the whole post to which you replied. I asked how they run when they are that dirty? Meaning I wanted to know if the outside has nothing to do with the function. If they kept their action clean so when they do need it they don't end up with their mommys outside of the presidents range crying about bringing the troops home. |
Hey, you talkin shit on me |
i think he awnserd your question exactly how i would have. you made a statement on there outer apperance and that has nothing to do at all with how they run. the outside of mine looks trashed as well but inside is clean as hell.
That's mine, actually. But thanks for the nomination
I agree actually. I built it on a Colt LE6520 lower receiver. It was either that or my Olympic Arms, and I kind of felt like the Colt was the better choice. Whenever ASA manufactures the M16a1 clone lower receivers, I'll probably end up replacing the 6520. Thanks. |

OK kiddies, I tried to lighten the situation but I see its going south pretty fast... taker easy now, you don't need the mods to intervene, do ya? |

See that's what I was wondering. The guns on here are so prestine. Its nice to see one that has been tested out in the muck a little bit. (once in a while)Thanks for anwsering my question though. |
