The handguards alone could be worth the cost if they are correct A2 ones.

No, just no. Guy is a flat out liar. He regularly misrepresents cheap Chinese parts as surplus FN or Colt. He got a few of us a couple years back. Sold us a $25 Chinese made stock as an FN stock for $100. He also sold me a broken Matech sight as new. I ended up having to do a charge back on my credit card after he claimed he was going to refund me my money, he never did obviously. He also jumps on Reddit and I believe he has done the same on here under a different name to self promote and defend himself when he gets called out for being shady.

My “new old stock” Matech I received. He later claimed he mailed me the wrong one. He said he would refund me and send me the correct one. Obviously that never happened. If you search around that seems to be a common MO for him.

Thanks for the heads up. I was looking at buying one of the "FN" A2 stocks he has. I think i'll go a different route.

I got a stock from him (Shark Arms) a while back for my A4 build. I wanted a used one with a rack number, and that is what I got. It was really faded, chalky white though. I tried cleaning it, hitting with the paste you use to bring back the black of car trim etc. Ended up getting a black dye used to dye car trim black again. It's okay, but not great. I got another surplus one for my A2 build from another guy off the forums. It was still used, but in much better shape overall.

It's hard to tell in the pic but the A4 stock looks a little mottled where the dye didn't take evenly, especially around the rack numbers which I was trying not to cover.

I'm sitting on another set with a better stock in case I get another build inspiration. I've been tempted to try the Sarco ones though since I like a little character on them. That's actually where the handguards from my A2 build came from. Old shiny style. There is a minor crack, but nothing horrible, and they were cheap.
