I could use a few of them, even just the semi-auto only version.

doesn't look to be compatible with our beloved AR.  just from looking at the back end of the upper receiver cut, where it would mate with the AR-15 buffer tube mount.

Looks like an Italian MCX. Could have a market if priced well.

Wonder what will happen to ARX then?

I'll be waiting for when they're clearanced at Botach.

In the US, the ARX is already dead, so nothing will happen to the ARX here.

I wonder if it shares the same design as the Sako M23, or at the least, how close its operating system is to the ARX’s.

Their piston AR will be a home run if they bring it here with a chrome lined barrel, adjustable gas block, a handguard that holds its zero with lasers, and plenty of spare parts. The pictures of the lower receiver make it appear proprietary, which may or may not be an issue depending on how they import them.

Point is, I would love to see a piston AR better or equal to the real HK 416A5/7.

Looks a lot better than that plastic hunk of crap they put out.  I am not a fan of those things but would at least like to have the SBR one for my collection.    As far as this one it seems they have added to the bandwagon of the stock that attaches to the rail.

Except it uses a buffer tube, so no folding stock (lame).

No it doesn’t, but one of the stock options is an adapter that looks like an AR buffer tube to allow common AR stocks.

Interesting. They use what would otherwise be a crap securement method for the handguard, then add a massive channel and tab system. Pretty sure Thanos with the infinity gauntlet couldn’t make that handguard flex.

Looks too much like the MCX for me.

I’m guessing the long plate on the left is for an optional side charging handle.

Lower profile doesn’t appear to be AR compatible but could be wrong on that.

I’ll grab one if they come in under $1800.

If Beretta can get this to come in under $1800, it would be a real interesting consideration. Been looking at the IWI Carmel the last several months but holding off after Beretta announced this. Want to wait and see about availability and pricing.

Has Beretta USA even said if this will be available here?

NARP?

And what is it with companies using "DNA" in all of their marketing material? Are they getting into pharmaceuticals?

Makes no sense.

This thing is most likely years away if ever from coming to the US civilian market.

Haha, that's where I bought the two AR100s I use to own.  They blew them out and Botach actually delivered a product to my FFL (hasn't always been the case with them).

Every time I tell myself ... no more guns ... spend the money on more shooting ... I come to this site and end up wanting something.

I want one or two of these now. DANG YOU AFRCOM!

Generally speaking I like Beretta's non-plastic guns.  I have a lot of disdain for their plastic stuff.

This looks like an evolution of the basic AR into a Spearish carbine.  Hopefully the street price will be reasonable.  Caracal and PWS have driven the piston AR market cost downward with HK dropping the prices on their MR556 to compete.  If Beretta and get these into hands for $1399-1499 then I'd be in line for them.

ETA: watched the video ...

+ Chrome Lined / Lightish Profile Barrel (awesome)
+ Adjustable Gas (awesome)
+ Push-Button Release Handguard Removal Lever (HK are you watching?)
+ AR180 / MCX Recoil System (Eugene Stoner liked it)

This.  When it comes to bringing "Semi-Automatic Rifles" to the U.S. Market, Beretta may be worse than HK in its reluctance.  They've had an AR-pattern for years (post ARX) and it was never (to my knowledge) made available here.

Beretta has US manufacturing capabilities.  All they need to do is make a few parts domestically to comply with 922r.  The mag alone comprises 3 parts.  Add a pistol grip and you're already at 4 parts.  Add THS ... 7 parts.

It wouldn't be hard for Beretta to import the bulk of the firearm and "complete them" here to comply with silly laws while offering a non- neutered gun to the US market.

If this happens the price will likely be about what MCX LT costs, $2500.

If they bring this platform here with spare parts, and it works well (chrome lined barrel, adjustable gas block, nothing watered down), I will buy one.

It looks more like an AR-18/MCX clone and less a HK 416 clone. Makes more sense anyway than having a buffer tube, assuming it's designed appropriately.

Still burned by the fucking failure the ARX was. Have one, SBR.
Broken promises.

I also DO have an HK416 SBR. Hence I don't know what I will do once this rifle comes out to the American civilian market.

Provided it even does lol

Buona fortuna, Beretta

Looks very much like yet another AR18 guts inside the ambi AR15 shell.

Looks like an MCX. And really what the ACR should have been.
