Noob question: Where is the best place to get a C7 upper?
I know the great parts apocalypses is upon us, but would really like to get a carry handle upper built. |

Went ahead and got a blem A1. If anything, it will be a place holder for a C7 down the road. Might just rock it slick-sided |

They only have that upper available as a complete 20" 604/M-16 assembly. Not sure if Nodak has anything. View Quote Heard back from Fulton Armory. No more uppers, no plans currently to re-stock. Hopefully they eventually make more. Good to have the option available. I guess I'm glad I did not procrastinate on this build. The timing ended up working out. Same with the barrel (16" lightweight midlength). Almost everything was gone by the time I got it, but I lucked out. |

View Quote Im thinking they're doing that to keep assembled uppers instock. They still sell stripped lowers though, I ordered one on Saturday, it should be delivered this afternoon, along with a LPK, and "mil-spec" buffer assembly. Im pretty stoked on it, I hoping the quality from their "classic" rifles has spilled over into their modern offerings. |

It wasn't cheap, but it was about the only barrel that had a light profile for a carbine that wasn't mid length. I can post the sticker on the package when I get home. My carry handle KISS...
Attached File Brownells slick receiver set, FN 16” CL gov’t middy pinned by Retro Arms Works (thanks J.T.!) Comes in just under 6 lbs. without sling and mag. If I could change one thing, the barrel would be pencil/A1 profile. |

Wow, all these look terrific.
I used to have two of those Aimpoints. Gave 'em away to other shooters after I upgraded. They got used on rifles just like the beauties on this page so all is well. |
