What timeframe did Mueller Brass forge A2 uppers for Colt?
C MB My best detective work leads me to believe it was from 1993 to 1998. This is only based on a limited number of rifles seen in original owner collections. Earlier rifle(s) had CM code and later ones from the mid 2000s had symbols, based on the ones I have seen. Thank you in advance for your replies. |

My 2000 made A2 has C AF receiver.
So I guess pre 1998 is accurate |

I lucked into getting an upper for my PCR99 and it fits into my earlier question.
It is a Colt AWB upper.  Attached FileThe barrel is dated 5/98.  Attached FileIt did have a setscrew mounted flash hider or brake at one time.  Attached FileI have an almost identical original upper on my DPMS, except it has a shoulder and threaded FH. |
